Mel Gibson IS an American. He was born in a suburb of New York and later moved along with his parents and siblings to Australia, although I'm not certain what that has to do with the fact that he's an anti-Semite...in addition to being a misogynist and a homophobe. I am shocked at the "tolerant" being so unforgiving and unwise. This man grew up in stew bath of resentment toward Jews and probably felt that same hatred. He did precisely what a godly person does with his sins: he inhibited them. You know you have them too. Then he got drunk. Drinking removes ones inhibitions, which is why any right thinking woman does stupid things when she drinks too much. FYI - Americans don't need to be Jewish to be circumcised. Actually, I have only seen one uncut member in my entire life, and he was an Italian. It was an incredible shock for me. Although only one of my 2 sons is circumcised and he made that decision on his own at about the age of 8 or 9 years old because he didn't want to look 'different' than the other boys.
