On Yahoo I viewed a video by Kevin Sykes while he was interviewing a doctor in a hospital in Tyre who was taking care of bombing casualties. Kevin and the cameraman noitice three Lebanese tanks (T54) parked against the wall of the hospital. He asked the doctor about it and the doctor muttered, a bit shamefaced, that the hospital had asked the army to move the tanks but that they had refused. They were evidently there to attract Israeli fire to bomb the hospital. What else? Normally tanks don't park against hospital walls in combat conditions. The Lebanese fought one of the stupidest civil wars of the 20th Century against themselves and didn't seem to be able to negotiate a sensible settlement. Of course they suffered. Suffering is one of the consequences of stupidity. Parking your tanks next to a hospital is another kind of stupidity -- and possibly cowardice?
