Can't the generals order non stop air raids on the sources of these rockets? Carpet bomb them into dust before another rocket lands in Israel If not, is Peretz or Olmert to blame?

Ehud Olmert needs to stop wringing his hands and let the generals do their jobs. No cease fire until Hezbollah ceases to present a threat or exist. Where's BIBI when we need him?

It is time to admit it! We lost this war!! I am sick and tired of hearing that we destroyed this and eliminated that. We were better off last week than this week. We were better off the first week than the second week!! Time to recover! We need new elections so we can get rid of the lying rookies who are embarassing us day in and day out.

Ehud, habibi, Nasrallah has always had the power to end this war. It's really quite simple. Give us back our soldiers and stop firing missiles at us. But that's obviously never been his intention. If he were concerned about the value of life, he never would have started this war in the first place.

When will Olmert admit that there are more than 2 million displaced Israelis, and that many of them are in need of aid? Israel, unlike it's neighbours, unites at a time of crisis and everyone helps out, giving whatever they can to help. It's time the international community chipped in. Israel provides the world with the best heart medicines, the diabetic medicines, mobile phone technology, computer technology, and it was an immigrant to Israel who invented the x-ray machine. ALL of these technologies are used by the Islamic states, who want to exterminate Israel. Will the world ever thank Israel??? Or will they choose to support barbarianism and move back to the dark ages?

History has shown that to give an inch to groups such as Hezbollah or Hamas is to invite death. Compromise is seen by these murderers as weakness to be exploited. I wish the people of Israel and it's government success in this fight against hate and terror. The world needs to understand that to compromise with these barbarians only gives them more time to kill others! The so called "Moderate" Muslims need to stand up to these animals that are dragging their faith into the mud and say enough and issue a call to arms to destroy them or be branded as emty of purpose as their words of wanting peace!

It fails to register just exactly what you are promoting here. Do you want Israel to just role over and accept all the bombs and rockets? Or are you suggesting that talking is the answer when talking has failed Israel since 1948? Or would you suggest that the people just uproot and leave the land of their fathers, the land God granted them, the land that is God's to give and none other? Or are you really a Muslim writing in the guise of a protesting Israeli? The reason I ask is that you should be proud of the young men and women who have fought to give you the right to say the things you do. Sadly you do not appear proud to me, rather the opposite. I am a Christian and would give my life to make sure that my children and grandchildren were free from what you people are suffering, yes, even though I think war is distasteful.

We have two wars being fought in the Middle East; Syrian and Iranian insurgents are fighting Americans in Iraq and they are fighting Jews in Lebanon. The fighting will not stop until Damascus and Tehran are neutralized! Both America and Israel must be more aggressive in their defense of freedom by destroying these two "root causes of terrorism." If other Arabs continue to remain supportive of radical brothers -- the illegitmate sons of Abraham - they will eventually see their lands become unfit for human habitation. The time for rhetorical "political correctness" has become irrelevant! The time for wise choices has come -- TODAY -- not tomorrow!

With all of the "stop the war" ravings, it is rare to find someone outwardly anti-terror. Bizarre bunch running loose here.
