Guys, stop trying to gain moral with such stupid raid. It's very clear it was such a failure. I don't understand what is heroic about it and what is the purpose of it? This would save many more lives than the daring operation in Tyre. In the first Lebanon war we buried 675 Heroes. They are all DEAD heroes, and Lebanon is still a terrorist nest. Only comprehensive internationl diplomatic effort can restore some sanity to this war-stricken region. Olmert should resign today. He's dragging Israel straight to HELL. Operating on vengeance and blood thirst. Israel achievements so far? You tell me. Can Olmert guarantee that this war will bring stability to the region? That it will ensure some sort of peace? Keep on denying the truth. The IDF forces are one of the best military forces in the world. If they wanted, they could flatten whole Lebanon in three days and make it rubble. So could they do it with Syria and Iran (whereby Iran could take 4 days). However, since the Jews have a high moral ground, they avoid causing civilian casualities in contrary to the Hizbollah organization which purposely targets Israeli civilians. The nay sayers are like to one's in the wars of 48, 56, 67, 73 and 82. They are masters in turning a loss into a glorious victory. Deja vu!

I don't really know what's the objective of showing an empty metal box left after the raid but for sure, that's the only israeli thing they can show... The lebanese army and hezbollah are simply ridiculous and all those arab masses rejoicing to the view of that tin can on TV are fooling themselves in believing this raid is a failure.

it is as heroic as the operation in Baalbek where tens of helicopters & planes flied 150 km to kidnap a 55 years old civilian whose mistake is that his name is "Hassan Nasrallah",after commandos entered hospital thinking that maybe there is Hizbollah injured to take them because on front IDF hasn't the force to do it & when they didn't found any they took 4 civilians ,one of them 15 years old already left him.today's commandos is such heroic that IDF had 10 wounded,2 seriously & by IDF story that they destroyed the missile launcher that hot khadera yesterday. but they forgot that yesterday evening they already reported that they destroyed it.
