BKf ,   Israel   (08.06.06)
I wonder how many Lebanese citizens will be sacrificed by olmert in response? What a mess we allow our "leaders" to make.. .
32. Change at the Top!
Gus ,   Atlanta, GA   (08.06.06)
The Kadima government is not up to the task at hand and needs to fall. Benjamin Netanyahu should be leading Israel through this difficulty. That the IDF has not been allowed to inject sufficient troop numbers into southern Lebanon to prevent these continuing and increasingly bloody attacks deep into Israel is disgraceful.
33. THE TRUTH
Christian ,   Lebanese   (08.06.06)
With all the destruction and crimes done by israel they lost this war...Everything will be rebuilt again..What the arabs couldnt do Lebanon did it with its resistance.....Now the US wants to save the pride of Israel in the UN but its too late, we dont negotiate with a terror state.....LEBANON WON THIS WAR....ISRAEL LOST....please leave the 1 KM that u occupied in 26 days and be ready to give us Shebaa, the hostages and the mines map....
34. It Is Sad to See Young Men Die So Now Is the Time ...
World Citizen ,   the world   (08.06.06)
to seriously begin to negotiate a just peace for all parties concerned. Give the West Bank and Gaza to the Palestinians. All parties should release captives. Let Jerusalem become an international city under jurisdiction of the UN. Let the UN control the Golan Heights and Shebaa Farms for 20 years and then return them to Syria. Institute policies that integrate the economies of Israeli and its neighboring states. Economic prosperity for all will assure peace.
35. Mr. PM you staying in power is ....
Ari ,   Jerusalem   (08.06.06)
humiliation to the State of Israel! Your leadership is nill Your achievement in Lebanon for almost a month is nill You only seem to be scoring high when it comes to the number of Israelis killed since this war started! Keep up the great work fool!
36.  THE BRAVE ISRAELI SOLIDERS
DEBRA ,   USA   (08.06.06)
MAY THE BRAVE ISRAELI SOLIDERS BE WITH HASHEM FOREVER. THEY ARE HIS SOLIDERS FIGHTING FOR THE JEWISH NATION. THEY ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED WITH LOVE. HEROES ALL.
37. To all the anti israel fanatics from lebanon and elsewhere
michael ,   london   (08.06.06)
If you hate israel so very much why spend all you time on israeli website
38. to # 33 jajajaja
roberto ,   montevideo uruguay   (08.06.06)
Good joke. Now, one question. Are you stupid or did you write this talk back after taking cocaine? There is no way you can win a war against a nuclear armed country like Israel. Whatever happens, in whatever war, Israel will not loose. Whatever happens, no matter what, Iran wont have nuclear weapons. Those are the facts of life. You can accept the truth, or, in true muslim and arab ways, you can live (and die) in fantasy land.
39. To #27 - Jane
David ,   Germany   (08.06.06)
Do you know what's really weird? You guys believe in 'G-d of Israel' who allegedly favors you over all other people. Where is the justice of this God who punishes me cause i am not of the Jewish-Semitic origin? That's a fascistic view - just in religious manner. So i'll keep praying to a God who creats and treats all equally. Even the "chosen people"...
40. To # 37
Tony ,   beirut   (08.06.06)
We visit ur websites for 2 reasons: First, I am sure you heard of "Know your Enemy".. second "to tell you the truth" that your IDF is hiding from you. They are killing civillians not hizboullahs.. By the way ..your IDF officials watch Al Manar TV more than your own TVsss

you are right we are undefietable.. because of our beleive in god, our nation, our right....and our resistance... we shall win... and we shall set the rules of the game.

43. I wonder where those 'mothers' advocating withdrawal in 2000
AK   (08.07.06)
are now. if there was no withdrawal of Israeli forces from lebanon, Mr. Barak, and you, assorted 'peaceniks, ' those killed soldiers would be alive; Haifa, Sderot, Kiryat Shmona, Sefed, Nahariya wouldn't be bombarded. You better own up now to your mistakes and make a public apology. And get the CNN, Fox and Al Jazera the hell out of the frontline; they have been showing the Israeli positions and troups for the last 2 weeks to anybody who wanted to see it. Impeach Olmert and his Defense Minister for incompetents and get some gutsy, competent people to run this war --don't tell us that the last and only competent Israeli general Israel has is now brain dead and there is nobody to replace him.
44. To # 3! Not Lies!!!!! It's RESPECT
Jen ,   Haifa   (08.07.06)
It's not lies as you wrote - they cannot say soldiers are killed until they notify the family....!!!!
45. response post 38
Ari ,   Jerusalem   (08.07.06)
Hello Roberto Israel won't loose because it is determined to protecting its people against terrorists but your facts are not all valid! The U.S. is a super nuclear power but they did loose the war with Vietnam and Somalia, so in short nuclear powers do not always win wars!
46. to #11 lies cover up
John ,   Jerusalem   (08.07.06)
you are naive actualystupid. Israeli TV broadcast live from the site showing dead bodies of soldiers covered totaly by blankets but their army boots were clearly seen. On the screen it was wtitten that 9 soldiers killed by missile then after 5 minutes it was changed to 10 persons killed by missile. So it was obvious that some body is trying to hide facts and this has nothing to do with respect to families. Chris is defenitively right and you are covering up israel' s lies.
47. Worldly Citizen
Lauren ,   Israel   (08.07.06)
Can we stay in Tel Aviv???? Pretty please???
48. Wordly Citizen
Ted ,   Lebanese refugee   (08.07.06)
You can stay in Tel Aviv, you can also one day come visit us in Beirut wearing tourist clothes not battle fatigues, but first you must accept that others want to stay in their land too. Israel is causing the migration of the people who will secure peace one day, and you will end up with those who have no hope and nothing to lose. That is how "terrorists = frustrated victims" are born. Get it in your head that all humans are created equal, that Hitler was wrong. There is no Chosen people, no superior race, no blood that is not red. We are all God's children. Practice that part of your religion and allow others to do the same. Shame on you for not having learned from your own, sad, cruel, and unfair history.
49. No cover up.
James ,   Glasgow, Scotland   (08.07.06)
It was anounced on Sky breaking news that first thoughts were that those hit were civilians at some sort of service, but very quickly it was anounced that they were indeed army reservists. Now for all you nitwits that is no cover up. You are all acting like little children with your snidy remarks. They died doing their duty not hiding away in comfy homes in lands where danger doesn't lurk.
50. no "crime" here
Jay ,   Los Angeles   (08.07.06)
Killing enemy soldiers is what you're supposed to do in a war,and yes, this is one even though Israel doensn't have the guts to call Olmert's Folly one
51. Ok with Alex
Bilo ,   Earth   (08.07.06)
Agree with u.Hope that Olmert and Nasrallah will listen to u.
52. To Lebanon children with love
Dan ,   Kiryat Yam, Israel   (08.07.06)
Israeli children wer seen on TV writing and signing the USA ammunition shells of the 155 mm guns, Israeli children were nicely dressed, kneeling infront of the shells sending messages on the shells, not from the studio but direct from the guns firing position. Those children are learning how to write hatred and blood shed, the shells were fired arrived express in a non stop arch to explode in Lebanon innocent mothers holding their children tight, to live or to die together. Thanks to the children of Israel whom will be the future leaders of Israel and USA.

john john ,   lebanon   (08.07.06)
how much do we have to lose ,and how many people must die until mr.olmert recognise that violence brings nothing but violence,a missile from here and a missile from there and what next? how can someone kill this high number of people and still can go to sleep without feeling guilty.does anything in this world deserve that i kill my own people and the enemy's people (the civilians) just for military strategies???i wish not but this is whats happening.may god help us all
58. The Truth
RICHARD ,   PARIS FRANCE   (08.07.06)
The Truth Regardless of your feelings about the crisis between Israel and the Palestinians and Arab neighbors the next two sentences really say it all: * If the Arabs put down their weapons today, there would be no more violence. * If the Israelis put down their weapons today, there would be no more Israel.
59. Kfar Giladi
BDF ,   London, England   (08.12.06)
Over 30 years ago, I stayed at Kfar Giladi wanting to join the kibbutz. The soldiers who have now died there were, unlike the people being killed in Gaza and Lebanon, a military target. Hizbullah has a right to resist.
