And because the 1 Israeli soldier is so precious and worth of 100 Lebanese soldier or civilian, Israel was badly affected. They could not defeat Hizbollah and till this moment they did not achieve but a few KMs inside south of Lebanon. They could not face hizbollah face to face so they chose to kill their families and kids! Not only this, Israel wants to cause a civilian war in Lebanon and that is why they were targeting the Lebanese infrastructures and some Christian areas. They want the Lebanese to turn on Hizbollah and to have a civil war simply because IDF could not do it. Unfortunate for Israel this caused a great support to Hizbollah from all Lebanese, Arab world and lot of EU people. The war did not start before 28 days. Israel occupied Lebanese land and kidnapped Lebanese people. Hizbollah kidnapped the 2 Israeli soldiers to free the Lebanese POWs but Israel chose not to negotiate and to go to war. Hizbollah is a Lebanese resistance movement and want their land and people back. If this war ends soon, (and mark my words) there will be a treaty to give back the Lebanese their land and their POWs and to unarm Hizbollah. That what Hizbollah wanted in the first place! Couldn’t Israel do this long time ago and save us this bloody war !!

I noticed he said US military analyists not Israeli. It is amazing how he can then generalize this opinion of 2 "US military analyists" as if Israel actually is doing this. As all of us know these military analyists come out of the woodwork during wars without much credentials other than having been in the military. I question if just being in the military makes their opinions any more reliable than mine. But it does tell you how much the media uses pure speculation as documentation of their opinions. Finding out how truely biased and dishonest the media and how far the media stretches the truth is at least a positive outcome for all of us.
