I'm really tired of this war..i'm lebanese so I don't really care about israeli casualties but I'm concerned with the crazy number of innoncent civilians killed in Lebanon.. All you people saying that hezollah hide behind civilians have never given any proof of this thing; if this is what the idf says, then it does not mean it is the truth. Furthermore, the video circulating online showing rockets being launched from a residential area can be totally fake.. It's true I've never liked Israel, and I'll never will.. but I don't have any problem with an israeli country in the south as long as this country doesnt interfere in our politics and leaves us alone.. whether we like it or not, Israel is a legitimate state for the UN so we have no choice but to accept them as neighbours.. But tell me, is what you are doing in Lebanon right now going to help people accept you as neighbours! All the world watching treats you as baby killers; you are attacking lebanon without any permission from the UN or anybody; Is the capturing of 2 soldiers the reason behind this war? I don't think so, Israel's goal was clearly to turn the clock back 20 years in Lebanon; so the war is against Lebanon in general..And this is totally unjustified.. even though hezbollah captured the soldiers, u have been violating our lands since 2000, why didnt we reply with a ''self-defence'' attack.. Just give us back the prisoners, withdraw from shebaa, give us the map for the mines planted in lebanon, stop violating our lands and u wont hear of us for a long time.. It is very easy, but you guys don't want peace.. Hezbollah is considered as a terrorist group by USA, Canada and GB, which shows that the resistance is legitimate as long as there is an occupied land in lebanon.. And if the fighting continues more and more, you , the reader, might be the next person hit by a rocket.. And to finish, long live Lebanon and its resistance as long as there is one inch of occupied land ..

This war is a DISASTER FOR ISRAEL. Lebanon soil drinks the blood of our best sons and wants more. Give me more, Olmert. And Olmert indulges it.

There are four factors which don't seem to given enough exposure with regards the atrocity being committed against Lebanon. 1. A built in hatred of their Arab neighbours by Israelis and various US Jewish groups . 2. An unadmitted jealousy of any neighbouring Arab country thriving economically or appearing to be prospering. 3. A desire to use all the new technology toys to encourage further development. 4. The necessity of downgrading Hezbollah as a prerequisite for bombing Iran and Syria not necessarily for any nuclear or military threat but because off reason 2.

I don't understand why we have to keep sending ground troops to search Bint Jbail. We have lost dozens of young soldiers because our leadership does not wish to do what is necessary: To target every single building from the air. Take out all buildings. There will be no need to scour the place because it will cease to exist and Hezbollah guerrilas will not be able to shoot from the top of these structures into our soldiers who are being forced to search house by house for the terrorists. Why search? Just blow up all the buildings. We have enough F-16s and enough bombs to take out all the buildings. Whatever ruble is left, leave it to the D-9 bulldozers to finish. No more Bint Jbeil. No more casualties. Then to the next village.

It’s very easy to stop the war. Believe me we don't like it either. Just tell Nasrallah to give back our soldiers, stop the bombing of our towns and villages and in general to stop killing Israelis. Maybe you could also ask him and the rest of the Arab world why everything they do, never mind in Israel which they hate, is with violence: Iraq, Afghanistan, Russia, East Timor, and so on. The sooner the Arab world realize that Israel is here to stay, the sooner all this will stop. Dont you see hizbollah targeting civillians, we are targeting hizbollah'' There are many wrong things in this statement; its true that hezbollah entered israel to capture the soldiers, but they didnt do it bc they want to destroy israel, they did it bc they wanted to exchange prisoners.. and they had to do this bc israel does not (and never did) negociate with anyone; israel is above the law! so if the capturing was the only way to return the prisoners, u have to complain to ur government who doesnt want to release prisoners of war; secondly, ur saying they started shooting rockets.. this is also totally wrong, hezbollah started lauching rockets once the iaf started launching missiles and targetting civilians.. and plz, oh plz, dont say that you are targetting hezbollah! i dont think they were any hezbollah in a lot of christian areas in lebanon... Why is nasrallah supposed to give u back the prisoners of war when ur detaining lebanese prisoners? also, nasrallah said if u stop bombing lebanon and fight on the ground he'll stop launching rockets.. so the ball is in ur court.. but iaf doesnt really care about stopping from what we have seen so far.. Secondly, why everything is filled with hate, its bc muslims are being oppressed everywhere.. iraq, afghanistan, russia.. Don't we all want peace? One thing I want to make clear, we the civilians on both sides are the victims. We are the pieces of the politicians games, and they bargain with our lives in a cheap maner. Let me explain something about the weapons found in homes. When you invade someones land and destroy his life, that person becomes agressive wanting revenge no matter who is on the other side. Israel will find weapons in every home directed at its soldiers THIS IS WHAT"S CALLED AND KNOWN AS RESISTANT. guys, its not that hard to read history and to see whats going on. its seems like everyone here started the clock 27 to 30 days ago, and you are basing everything on that, the war, and the reason behind it. Israel has occuipied lebanese land for the longest time. Hizbollah is the resistance, ofcourse there will be soldiers taken hostage, how else would you release the prisoners of lebanon and palestine? so please lets just stay very close the the facts at hand. Hisbollah did not launch one rocket on israel till israel bombed a civilian airfield, no matter how you put it, hizbollah reacted towards an agressor. if you wanted your hostages you would have negotiated, lets be honost you dont really care about your 2 soldiers. remember israel invaded lebanon before, we did not do anything to you, we kicked you out.. and thats all we did. now your complaining about what? tell me please i want to know. this as i see it is not a just world, you have no right to walk over people, and please dont use the holocaust as an excuse anymore, we feel terrible for your losses in WWII dont bring the hate towards your neighbors becuase they simply want to live in degnity next to the BULL dog that wonts stop his bitting.

I can give u more and more example of what u call targetting Hizbollah. Stop being BLIND AND DUM. In all this war there is a few hizbollah killed and there is 1000 civilians.

If you would be a businessman and someone comes over and tells you to invest 100 thousand dollars so that in 5 years time you could earn a million dollars, you wouldnt say "that is a bad idea because I really need this 100 thousand dollars know". Managing a country is like that, you have to be ready to invest KNOW to earn something big in the FUTURE. Of course 100 thousand dollars is a lot of money and of course some hundreds of israeli lives is a precious thing we are loosing in this war (and will still continue loosing in the next days and weeks). But the alternative is to loose MANY MORE in the future, if we dont act now.
