1. What a Belly Laugh
Dave Levi ,   Burbank. USA   (08.09.06)
If this entire absurdity wasn't so serious, I would have had a good belly laugh, and then perhaps thrown up. I mean, if Germany had known what Hitler was really like prior to WW2, maybe there wouldn't have been a war which cost the world 50m lives (including 6m of the "inferior race Jews"), This is uncredible, hard to believe. I would have thought Hitler considered himself the reincarnated Jesus. But the sorry and the pity is how the German and Austiran Volk fell for Hitler and his henchmen. What were the Germans really like I ask? Were they also eveil incarnate? From their actions, it would seem that they too, deserve to be placed on the bottom of the dung heap of history. In 1,000 years, Germany will still smell of the stench of what they did. Maybe one day, the real G-d will remember what they did. Germany will have to be watched for years and years.
2. I know we're not supposed to be in awe
Mary ,   USA   (08.09.06)
of the demonic, but this guy is a lesson in how NOT to treat things that are sacred to G_d. He tried to mess with G_d's people. He tried to mess with G_d's covenant, a no-no and both of which will Always bring His Personal visit.(I'm not usually this nice) Truly, nothing we can think or say would ever come close to describe the perpetual, suffering which will be experienced by all who reject G_d, but I wonder if He has something very specific for those who have stood out like Hitler.
3. "Hitler despised Christianity" ???
Ephraim Rauch ,   Tel Aviv   (08.09.06)
The author of this article is either a Catholic or an ignoramus. It is sufficient to read any serious (non-Catholic) treatise on the history of the second world war, or any biography of Hitler, to understand that Hitler was a devout Catholic during all his life. Understandably, the Catholic Church made great efforts to deny this fact after the defeat of the Third Reich. But why does such a distorsion appear in an Israeli newspaper?
4. Nazis were NOT catholic!
Kay   (08.09.06)
Was Hitler a Christian? The allegation is sometimes made that Hitler was a Catholic - a Christian until the day he died. This claim is based upon the fact that Hitler was born and raised in a Catholic family. However, as an adult, Hitler specifically rejected the Catholic Church, as well as Christianity in general. He described himself as "a complete pagan". All of these are quotes from Adolf Hitler: Night of 11th-12th July, 1941: National Socialism and religion cannot exist together.... The heaviest blow that ever struck humanity was the coming of Christianity. Bolshevism is Christianity's illegitimate child. Both are inventions of the Jew. The deliberate lie in the matter of religion was introduced into the world by Christianity.... Let it not be said that Christianity brought man the life of the soul, for that evolution was in the natural order of things. (p 6 & 7) 10th October, 1941, midday: Christianity is a rebellion against natural law, a protest against nature. Taken to its logical extreme, Christianity would mean the systematic cultivation of the human failure. (p 43) 14th October, 1941, midday: The best thing is to let Christianity die a natural death.... When understanding of the universe has become widespread... Christian doctrine will be convicted of absurdity.... Christianity has reached the peak of absurdity.... And that's why someday its structure will collapse.... ...the only way to get rid of Christianity is to allow it to die little by little.... Christianity [is] the liar.... We'll see to it that the Churches cannot spread abroad teachings in conflict with the interests of the State. (p 49-52) 19th October, 1941, night: The reason why the ancient world was so pure, light and serene was that it knew nothing of the two great scourges: the pox and Christianity. Was Hitler Excommunicated? The allegation is sometimes made that the Catholic Church never excommunicated Hitler from membership. It is unknown whether Hitler was formally excommunicated or not, but it doesn't matter. Hitler was already excommunicated ipso facto under the canon law of the Catholic Church for his numerous sinful crimes. He could only have returned to the Catholic faith, even assuming that he would ever have wanted to, by having his excommunication removed by the Pope himself. The lifting of such excommunication is reserved to the Pope, latae sententiae. Furthermore, the conference of German bishops excommunicated all Nazis in 1930, and in the 1932 elections forbade Catholics to vote for a Nazi. By being the leader of the Nazi party, Hitler had already put himself outside of the Church. Finally, it should be noted that the whole purpose of excommunication is to help the sinner recognize the enormity of his sins, so he will seek forgiveness. As St. Paul wrote: "If any one refuses to obey our word by this letter, note that man, and have nothing to do with him, that he may be ashamed. Do not look on him as an enemy, but warn him as a brother." (2 Thes 3:14-15). Someone like Hitler, who did not believe in the truth of Christianity, would simply shrug it off. http://www.geocities.com/chiniquy/Hitler.html

Actually Hitler wanted to return to - and "Nazi-ism" was actually rooted in a form paganism.
6. To #3
Josh ,   Atlanta   (08.09.06)
Hitler went against every single teaching of Christ. Being born into a church or getting church membership does not make one a true Christian. That's precisely why Jesus said, "You must be born again." One can claim to be a Christian and still go against everything in the Bible, but whoever does that is a total fraud, and is not a Christian at all, but someone who wants to identify with the religion for political advantage. The KKK continues to do the same thing here in America. They call themselves Christians, yet they don't read the Bible and they engage in pagan ceremonies. People can call themselves anything they want, but obedience to the scriptures is where the rubber hits the road.

8. hitler loved his mother!!
Michael A Gold ,   EL Paso, Texas   (08.09.06)
That is hard to believe, but it is true. Also hitler aligned himself with the theories of martin luther. The Lutherns of today still maintain those theories. Interesting enough, in 2004, leaders of the Presbyterian Church met with leaders of the Hezbollah. Last year before Passover the leaders of the Southern Baptist employed (YES employed) Jews for Jesus to convert the rest of us(Jews). One of the leaders of the SBC equated Jews to being a cancerous tumor upon society. Not all Christians are bad, I just haven't met many that are good
9. This Is What Moslems Are Doing
Answer Moslem Racism ,   Washington DC   (08.09.06)
Torrey's book "The Jewish Foundations of Islam" is now completely online. It shows that Muhammad borrowed almost everything from Judaism. Moslems today preach anti-Semitism because they are embarrassed by how much they borrowed from Judaism. Quite sad given the joint ethnic origins of Arabs and Jews, proven linguistically and through DNA. When Christians and Moslems recognize that the origin of both religions is the First Five Books of the Bible, i.e., the Torah, there will be what Moslems call "ta'leef al-quloub," and maybe then world peace.

12. Hitler, Christianity (#3 Ephraim)
David ,   The Galilee, Israel   (08.09.06)
Ephraim, Catholicism is not Christianity. If you would read the history of the primitive church, and Cathoic origins, you would not issue such an insupportable non-truth. The leaders of Catholicism and most of its daughter "faiths" of the Protesant persuasion were, indeed, indifferent to the plight of Jews and the Holocaust. Many of the Gentiles who helped Jews were biblical Christians, i.e. Christians by biblical faith, and not Catholic or Protestant traditions. READ A LITTLE DEEP HISTORY!
13. Hitler No Less a Christian Than Constantine
Paqid 16, Netzarim ,   Ra'anana, Israel   (08.09.06)
Learn more about the real manifestation of Christianity, Constantine, and you'll find that, conversely, he was no more Christian than Hitler. Both were opportunistic Machiavellians (despite the anachronism) who used Christianity as a political tool. If Roman Christianity is Christianity then so is Nazi-Christianity, regardless whether Christians find that repugnant. The Nazi goal of a 4th Reich, succeeding the 3rd Holy Roman Catholic Christian Empire, and a thousand year reign, inter alia, are straight out of the Christian book of Revelation. The Nazi idea of transferring the ethnicity of the Christian god from Jew to Aserbaijani (or Armenian or Georgian) may explain why many Arabs are horrified at the suggestion that the historical man was a Jew. Perhaps Arab Christianity is rooted in the Nazi rewrite rather than conventional Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodox or Protestant Christianity? How else can one explain Arabs reacting in horrified disbelief at the statement that the historical man was a Jew? 14. True Christian (Josh, Atlanta)
Paqid 16, Netzarim ,   Ra'anana, Israel   (08.09.06)
A Christian is one who has accepts JC as his personal savior, which constitutes, according to Christian doctrine, "being born again." There is no further condition. There is no doctrine in Christianity that requires obedience to anything. Every Protestant Christian has the freedom to interpret as (s)he wishes and do as (s)he wishes and JC will forgive everything. "Once saved, always saved." Period. Being a fraud DOESN'T mean one isn't a Christian (or there would be no Christians). The KKK are Christians because they satisfy the above definition. So was Hitler and most Nazis. There is no Christian doctrine requiring reading the Bible, nor even prohibiting engaging in pagan ceremonies. The latter is merely discouraged. But Christian doctrine teaches that JC forgives everything. You can interpret Christianity for yourself, as described above, but you have no authority to define Christianity for anyone else. Obedience to Scripture requires beginning with the only Scripture Ribi Yehoshua and his Netzarim Jewish followers ever knew and accepted: the Jewish Bible (in Hebrew). When you learn to obey that you'll find that it precludes belief in a 4th-century Hellenist man-god or being a Christian. Absorb our website and learn what you presently have no grasp of. 15. Re #14 - Where does YOUR Scripture knowledge come from?
Speli ,   USA   (08.10.06)
Dear Paqid, I stood amazed at your explanation of what constitutes Christianity and what doesn't. While I totally agree with you that Yeshua taught the Tanakh, I do not agree with your definition of what it means to be saved and your implied connection to any ensuing sinful behavior and its forgiveness by G-d. Acts 4:12 in the New Covenant, a book describing the happenings shortly after Yeshua's death and resurrection by a re-energized group of his disciples, states Peter (a Jewish man!) as speaking this about Yeshua: "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved." So I concur there again on what it takes to be "born again". HOWEVER, the New Covenant book of Romans, written by Paul (a Jewish man!) states very clearly in Romans 2:28-29: "A man is not a Jew if he is only one outwardly, nor is circumcision merely outward and physical. No, a man is a Jew if he is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a man's praise is not from men, but from God." It goes on to say in chapter 6-11-12: "In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to G-d in Christ Jesus. Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires." And further down in verse 15: "What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? By no means!" So I believe you need to look at those "directions for the Christian faith" if you want to reach conclusions on whom G-d looks at favorably and whom He doesn't. While I know I am going to get tons of comments on not preaching Christianity here, (and I truly do not want to create conflict or division at a time such as the one right now when we should all be in prayer on our knees begging for G-d's mercy), I could not let this one just stand. By the way, the prophet Zechariah said (12:10): "And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son." Paqid, I know you know very well whom they pierced. However, I believe that the event described by Zechariah is what will need to happen before most people, including you, will understand the connection between Judaism and Christianity and can live in peace. Blessings and prayers for peace from the USA
16. Hitler a Catholic?
Joe Keysor ,   Salalah, Oman   (08.09.06)
Hitler never mentioned the Virgin Mary. He never went to confession or mass during the entire war. He committed suicide (a mortal sin) and did not request a priest or last rites. Catholics in Nazi Germany who failed to conform were persecuted. The Concordat with the Vatican was broken numerous times. www.bedfordgaol.com
17. Yes, Hitler hated Christianity
Barbara ,   USA   (08.09.06)
He called it a "weak, Jewish religion." Whatever lip service that fiend paid to the Roman Catholic church (still too powerful and influential for him to attack, and he knew it), his true faith was in the occult and in Germany's pagan, pre-Christian past. Furthermore, why did he even bother with the Bible? I thought "Mein Kampf" became the new "holy" writ in Germany after the Nazis took over.
18. Response to #14
Josh ,   Atlanta   (08.09.06)
Your first two sentences are accurate. But to say that there is no doctrine in Christianity that requires obedience to anything is preposterous. The entire message of Jesus was first to confess sin, then to repent (an obedient act of turning away from sin), and then if you want to live a life pleasing to the Lord, you will obey the Scriptures. That's why He said, Think not that I am come to abolish the Law, but rather to fulfill the Law. You're also wrong to assume that every Protestant Christian has the freedom to interpret as he/she wishes and do as he/she wishes and Jesus will forgive everything. Anyone who says a "magic prayer" and turns around and goes out to massacre millions of people thinks that salvation is like fire insurance or a license to sin. If that was the case, why did Jesus implore people to obey Him or to do anything?? Why didn't He just say, hey say this magic prayer and you're all free to do whatever you want now?? People might satisfy definitions, but IF THEY DO NOT REPENT, THEY ARE NOT SAVED AND CANNOT BE CHRISTIANS. They can call themselves whatever they want, but they cannot be followers of Christ without actually obeying the teachings of Christ. And if you aren't a follower of Christ, you aren't a Christian, no matter what you call yourself. True, there isn't doctrine requiring reading the Bible. But since the Ten Commandments are apart of Christian doctrine, engaging in pagan ceremonies are prohibited by the First Commandment. Doctrines may teach that Jesus forgives everything, but the Gospel teaches that Jesus will only forgive those who REPENT. True, I have no authority to interpret Christianity for anyone else, but Scripture does. And the Gospels have that authority as well. I am trying to learn and obey the Jewish Bible, although I don't know Hebrew, I would like to learn. I have read Genesis, Exodus, and I am currently reading Leviticus. I know they are called by the first phrases of the books in Hebrew, but I haven't got them memorized. I do not believe in a 4th Century Hellenist man-god. I believe Jesus is the Jewish Messiah and came to earth to provide the ultimate sacrifice for the sins of mankind. I don't believe that forgiveness is automatic. Like in Egypt, there may have been many who believed Moses, but only those who actually obeyed and put the blood on their door posts were spared the wrath of the Angel of Death. I do not believe that Jesus' goal was to be the Messiah when He first came. I believe that His goal was to provide a sacrifice to ultimately replace animal sacrifice. Also, He came to provide a means to salvation for Gentiles, like me, through grace and faith. Abraham's inheritance wasn't gained through good works and righteous acts, God credited Abraham with righteousness because of his faith. But Paul reminded us Christians that faith without works is dead. There's a scriptural requirement to OBEY. If one claims to have faith, yet they never read or obey the Bible, and all their works are evil, such as inciting hatred and violence against God's people, the Jews, I'd say their faith is dead wouldn't you? If it's dead, it doesn't exist, it's worthless, it's null and void, need I go on? I believe Jesus' goal when He returns VERY soon will be to be the Jewish Messiah in your hour of great need, which, as you can tell, is fast approaching. It has been fun sparing with you, I'm sure I will be embarassed by your retaliation. I will go to your website to see what you have to say. I am serious about my quest to learn Hebrew, but I feel like I don't have time to learn or any money to take classes. Please let me know if you know of some really good online Hebrew programs. You probably think I'm a psycho by now, but I'm really not. I pray for Israel every day. I'm sure I'd enjoy talking to you some day.

true chrtistianity is not only to receive forgiveness but is to follow Jesus. It means to learn and obey his words in daily live. The teachings of Jesus Christ are clear written in the New Testament. And of course it leads us gentile believers to our roots, the holy thora. May G-d bless you.

As a specialist in the history of the relations between the Catholic Church and Nazi Germany, I am obliged to say that what you wrote does not correspond with historic truth. It is a sad fact that Adolf Hitler was a regular Church-goer all his life long. There are even documents which attest that until the end of his life he payed the "dime" (one tenth of his income)to the Church, something which only the most devout Catholics do. Here in Belgium, a traditional Catholic country, less than 10% of the population pay any dues to the Church. Not only Hitler was a Catholic, the majority of his colleagues in yhe Nazi hierarchy were devout Catholics. I say this with infinite sorrow, being a Catholic myself. I do not believe there is something wrong with the religion, but with some of the people who practise it.

27. " the Church still opposed the Nazi movement "
Marcel Abel ,   (France)   (08.09.06)
According to the December 23, 1940 issue of Time magazine on page 38, Einstein said : " Being a lover of freedom, when the revolution came in Germany, I looked to the universities to defend it, knowing that they had always boasted of their devotion to the cause of truth; but, no, the universities immediately were silenced. Then I looked to the great editors of the newspapers whose flaming editorials in days gone by had proclaimed their love of freedom; but they, like the universities, were silenced in a few short weeks... Only the Church stood squarely across the path of Hitler's campaign for suppressing truth. I never had any special interest in the Church before, but now I feel a great affection and admiration because the Church alone has had the courage and persistence to stand for intellectual truth and moral freedom. I am forced thus to confess that what I once despised I now praise unreservedly. In another, similar statement, Einstein referred explicitly to the Catholic Church (Lapide, p. 251). This is an extraordinary testimony by an agnostic German scientist of Jewish heritage. Even though there were traitors in her ranks, the Church still opposed the Nazi movement ". ----- Moreover : "whosoever preserves one life, it is accounted to him by Scripture as if he had preserved a whole world." With this he claims that Pius XII deserves a memorial forest of 860,000 trees in the Judean hills (pp. 268-9). It should be noted that six million Jews and three million Catholics were killed in the Holocaust. We must remember that the Holocaust was also anti-Christian. After Hitler revealed his true intentions, the Catholic Church opposed him. Even the famous Albert Einstein testified to that.

30. Jesus and Hitler
Alban ,   Montgomery, AL   (08.10.06)
1. God is eternal, all-knowing, perfect, and holy. Jesus Christ is the Son of God (Jehovah). Jesus is one with God and was with God since eternity past (John 1:1-2). The Holy Spirit was also there from the very beginning (Genesis 1:2). The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are the three members of the Holy Trinity – three who are one. Man has a mind, spirit, and body. God has the Mind of God, the Holy Spirit, and the Body of Christ. Man was created in His image (Genesis 1:26). 2. Jesus was born into this world as a Jew, from the House of David (Matthew 1:6, 16). God promised an eternal throne to David (2 Samuel 7:12-13), and Jesus is the inheritor of that throne. Jesus’ throne is not over the land of Israel, but over the spiritual Kingdom of God (John 18:36). If Jesus was anything other than a Jew, God would be a liar. Salvation is of the Jews (John 4:22). This was God’s promise to Abraham (Genesis 22:18). God is not a liar. 3. The name Jesus is a special name above all other names (Philippians 2:9-11). But this name was a secret until He was born. He appeared in the Old Testament several times (ex: Daniel 3:24-25), often called “the Angel of the Lord”. When they asked what His name was, He would not say it (Genesis 32:29-30, Judges 13:17-18, 22). It was a secret. Before He was born, He was known as Immanuel, meaning “God with us” (Isaiah 7:14). This indicated that God Himself would walk among people (John 1:10-11, 14). 4. It is not possible for man to save himself, but for God all things are possible (Matthew 19:25-26). Jesus has already done all the work (John 19:30). All that is required of you is to accept this salvation. Believe in Jesus Christ and accept Him as your Lord and Savior. He gives you eternal life (John 3:16, 11:25-27, Romans 10:9). 5. God cannot be fooled. He will not be mocked (Galatians 6:7). His thoughts are above your thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). Jesus knows exactly who His sheep are (John 10:14). Pretending to be a Christian will not help you in the Day of Judgment. 6. Hitler re-wrote the Bible. Adding to or taking away from God’s Word is a very grave sin (Revelation 22:18-19). This is the final warning in the Bible. Rewriting the Bible will cost Hitler his place in Heaven. 7. As soon as Hitler made the Jews his enemy, he became cursed of God (Genesis 12:3, 27:29, Numbers 24:9). He should have blessed the Jews instead of cursing them. The United States is Israel’s best (only?) ally. We give Israel money, political support, military weapon systems, etc. God has blessed the United States more than any other country on Earth. 8. Any Christian who actually reads the Bible will see that we are supposed to bless the children of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, never curse them. God didn’t forget about the Jews (Isaiah 49:14-16). The Christians didn’t replace the Jews as God’s chosen people. Christians are the wild olive branch grafted in among the original branches to bear fruit (Romans 11:16-21). When the Church Age is over, God will graft the original branches (the Jews) back in. 9. God is not done with Israel. Read through the Book of Revelation and you will see God preserving Israel throughout the upcoming Great Tribulation. And at the Battle of Armageddon (also known as the Day of the Lord throughout the Bible), Jesus Christ Himself will come down and destroy the armies of the world as they try to destroy Israel. Read the Book of Zephaniah to see the aftermath of the Day of the Lord. As far as we know, only a handful of hidden Jews will survive – a small remnant. Everyone else is dead. God will return to them a pure language and they will repopulate the world during the Millennium. God has NOT washed His hands of the Jews, as some might think.
