From the beginning of this war, when Hizbullah kidnapped the two israeli soldiers and also shot 150 rockets, the Israli army had to say in the announcement to south lebanon citizens that they must leave their houses because this is their fault and only their fault they support Hizbullah, the citizens who stay - their blood is on their own heads and ARE NOT INNOCENT. A few days after the annoucement the IDF had to destroyed all the villages which the rockets are shot off. Notice - we are a democratic country - we dont shot innocents. On the other hand Hizbbullah shot he is shooting and will continue shooting at israli citizens (Arabs & Jewish).

I dont think that IDF is doing good in the present war , Daily tanks are hit, soldiers are dieing and even the rockets are not stopping towards the northern communities . Still Litani river is 10 kms , how much more time IDF will take and what is the guarante that the missles will stop towards northern communities.what is the use of that buffer zone which Israel wants to create , all the same rockets might keep on coming. Why Israel is sacrificing soldiers .. I know its war and soldiers will die in this , but when there is an achievement by the targets then only its better to risk the lives of soldiers. It really doesnt matter to Hizbullah when lebanese are dieing , coz it will try to show that its coz of IDF. Israel is a responsible state and Hizbullah are not .. so this is the real weakness of Israel that its a country and who is responsible for the citizens.

i think you are or blind or "not wise " ,in this campaign in israel were killed about 120 persons ,82 soldiers ,rest are civilians .in lebanon were killed about 1000 persons ,950 civilians (third of them children)& about 50 Hizbollah .after this statics ,concentrate a little ,think good & moke some wise conclusions about war criminals & morality. About bombing of hospitals,schools ,buildings ,Unifil, red cross cars & etc.... i will not say anything

Where is the leadership? Was it wise to start this whole business without a plan? Here we are a month into the situation, with civilians on both sides hurting and the IDF put in an impossible position. Hopefully a sensible solution will be found. After that, Olmert and Peretz should resign. It is interesting that the Hawk Sharon learned his lesson about Lebanon while these "progressives" have put Israel in a most precarious position.
