in 6 days IDF could have occupied the whole Lebanon, Syria and Iran, what is this clown waiting for?

Uhh well Hezbollah got another month or two till Olmert makes his mind, so they still have a lot of time to kill some soldiers and citizens, while the Lebanese government is buying time for them and Olmert is waiting for the UN to decide what he should do..

To all of you who think this is a picnic forget it...you would not wish this on your enemies.. A doctor's appt made it necessary for me to leave after 30 days indoor.. On the way back the sirens went off and with the windows open or closed you cannot hear the siren on the main road.. People were pulling over to the side of the road, nowhere to hide there..I just wanted to turn in to the first neighbourhood and get us out of harms way..We heard the rockets hit the ground with a thud, it was enough to eject you from your seat. I am thankfully home with my children once more, and I pray that we get thru this awful experience!

At the start of all this, and when it suits them, the Lebanese government said they were not responsible and had no influence on the Hizballa. So why is it that THEY are now decided what is an exceptable cease fire agreement ? They have abstained from any involvement , apart from crying and pleading for help. So who are they to decide under what conditions the fighting should stop? Like Mike said, the Lebanese government seems to be bying time for the terrorists and in the meantime my children are still in danger. Earlier than this, the inquisition in Iberian peninsula; this is the reason that my family left Spain on the year 1492 and came to Aza (Gaza) city and later on 1799, they moved to the city of Chevron (Hebron). The attacks of the Islam did not forget to involve the Jewish people of Chevron and the rest of Jewish comunities of The Land of Israel (The name of The Land according to the promisse to Avraham, Yitschak and Ya'akov in the Bible). The nations of Europe and America, allowed thousands of moslems to become legal residents and citizens of their countries. When there will be enought moslems in the western nations, the west will start to taste what Israel is expereiencing since 1948 and even earlier. You are right in every word written..we can blame bush for his crazy hat, but at least he is trying to do something, anything.. This was happening for years, CIA, and other Intelligence knew of it but did and said nothing.In fact its eerie but i find a parallel between both situations, altho the consequences in the U.S were vastly graver, still we were not prepared or took it all with a pinch of salt and these are the results. I think Israeli elite should have a long awaited talk with Bush about Cease Fires and the UN. This war is about making the world safe from evil not making the world safe for democracy. This is not the time to let the perverts than run Iran, Hizbollah and the PA off the hook.

let's face it, Israel is loosing way much more then achieving anything in lebanon. I know that lots of people think the IDF has this superpower to attack and take all south lebanon in few hours, well, for all those i'm sorry to say: You are wrong. if that was the case, don't even think Olmert and Peretz will hesitate even for one sec. to do so. but advancing first is pricy, lots of more soldiers will die, hizbollah are not giving ground for cheap, and if they do and give a hill or valley, they come back an hour later and fight back, that's why most of the fights are still within the borders. It's disappointing, I know, but still if an agreement will be reached now, the history will not say that Israel lost 1000 soldiers in meaningless battles in south lebanon, they will say that they lost more less 100 soldiers and they were wise to leave.

WIth leaders like that who need enemies ?
