1. Spare a thought
Rabbi M Kahane ,   time traveler   (08.13.06)
Each one nurtured through life loved by parents and relatives, the apple of their mothers eye. They would have been fathers of the future, with leadership qualities, nuclius of another family unit, they may now only be remembered by an engravement in a stone slab in a cemetry somewhere to be eventually forgotten through time, as many have gone before. So young so butiful, so pointlessly wasted for the politics of now. This war will not go on forever. Come to your senses, we are all allocated a small expanse of time on this planet, which passes in a twinkling of an eye, put down the wepons, the spoken word is more powerful, not the size of your arsenal. People of Moses, i know you can make efforts to blend in with your neighbours, dont stick out like a sore thumb, uncle sam will not always be there for you, you will be left alone in the playground. What are you doing to the fathers and mothers of the future?, giving them security?, or will they also be forever looking over their shoulder to see where the next hostility will come from. Peace is the best strategy, can be a bit hard to achieve , anybody can start a war. How long are dead hero's rememberd for. Please now lets try peace, we have seen war achieves nothing, the chance has presented itself, dont throw it away. Stop all hostilities now. The other side is willing.

5. The life of Abdul, brave Hezbollah fighter
Canadian Dude ,   Montreal, Canada   (08.13.06)
At the tender age of 12, Abdul left the teeming shiite slums of Beirut with his 5 brothers and 3 sisters, to start a new life with his family in the charming slums of Baalbek instead. Although his uncle says he struggled to master the standard school curriculum in Beirut due to slight mental retardation, his mother says the real reason was he was picked on at school for obesity issues, due to his addiction to cheap American pudding snacks. Long removed from his traumatic childhood, Abdul grew into a slightly more slender, proud young man. Initially failing science due to his refusal to accept the implications of carbon dating and other evidence, which threatened to destroy some of his most deeply-held literal beliefs, Abdul was transferred to strictly Quranic studies under the watchful eyes of Hezbollah instructors. After years of study, he became an ideal recruit to the organization, and after completing his training (which involved mostly learning to read the Russian inscriptions on his weapons), he was deployed to a small village south of Tyre, where he and his jihadi comrades spent several months living in a bunker beneath a children's daycare centre. This week, Abdul's promising life came to a tragic end in a glorious battle with the IDF troops whose arrival he had so eagerly awaited. Civilian friends, who were interviewed while hurriedly switching from military uniforms into tattered jeans and t-shirts, say he was preparing to fire a Russian-made anti-tank missile at a random house which may have been occupied by enemy troops. Tragically, before he could complete his mission, he was shot dead between the eyes by an Israeli sniper after first pausing to yell "Allahu akhbar!", giving his position away. Nevertheless, his friends say he held that rocket launcher very bravely in the bunker for the couple of minutes before he was meant to go out and launch it, and is thus a strong demonstration of Hezbollah's proud defiance. Unfortunately for little Abdul, there won't be a funeral. The money is more effectively spent on katyusha rockets in this conflict, although the conflict is over since Hezbollah has already declared victory. Besides, he can't have a funeral, because according to Hezbollah sources, he is not dead but sitting comfortably at home with his family.

Stop this madness Comply to UN resolution and cease fire lebanon is willing to do so Nasrallah too why are Olmert Peretz and Halutz still sending kid soldiers to die on our land. it's such a pity all those people need to be trialed for war crimes against their own people.

12. #10 PLO REWARDED for JIHAD AGAINST LEBANON'S CHRISTIANS
Linda Rivera ,   New York   (08.13.06)
Lebanon was a Christian country until Muslims achieved a majority through an extremely high birthrate. The jihad against Lebanon's Christians was savage and barbaric. The IDF was the only hope for the embattled Christians. Click on Photo gallery: http://www.free-lebanon.com/ 20,000 Christians handicapped by PLO atrocities. PLO terrorists were rewarded for their savagery and mass murder of Christians by implanting them into Israel as TERRORIST "peace" partners through Oslo to continue the bloody, barbaric jihad against Israel's Jews. The Christians of Damour, Lebanon treated Muslims from surrounding areas free of charge in their hospital. The PLO and other terrorists repaid the Christian kindness with barbaric savagery: The Massacre and Destruction of Damour 'The attack took place from the mountain behind. It was an apocalypse. They were coming, thousands and thousands, shouting 'Allahu Akbar! God is great! Let us attack them for the Arabs, let us offer a holocaust to Mohammad 'And they were slaughtering everyone in their path, men, women and children.' Whole families were killed in their homes. Many women were gang-raped..." http://www.free-lebanon.com/LFPNews/psa/psa.html Satanic acts were perpetrated on Damour Christians.
13. War
Emilien ,   france   (08.13.06)
War is cruel, war is huggly... There were fighters, they knew that they were taking risks. They could had refuse to go to war. What is one month in jail to stay alive? Family soldier are very sad... Imagine the pain of the Libanese family of the 1000 civilians that were killed without taking any part to the conflict. In the hope that all this deads will make the israeli government stop the war... Condoleances to the families of all the victims.
