Joshua, you ask what was accomplished. Good question. The cease fire is merely an interruption in ongoing hostilities, going back centuries. However, I think the Israelis have at least demonstrated that they can "out-crazy" Hezbollah, when it comes to wreaking death and destruction. Hezbollah now knows there is no safety in hiding among civilians if they resume rocketing or other hostilities. They have been forewarned. The next time they start an unprovoked attack, they can expect, at least, more of the same. Unless Lebanon can succeed in defanging and declawing this terrorist militia, I fear there will be more of the same, only next time, their rockets may be tipped with nuclear warheads, which could justify a nuclear holocaust being unleashed on Lebanon, and perhaps Syria and Iran, as well.

Well a lot was accomplished. We know that our jewish leaders are working for the other side and the rest of the world now knows that Israel is a whimp that has a big talk, but can't walk the walk. What a disgusting bunch for putting idf men and woman on the line. Put those Hebrew knesset trash in the front line next time.

Israel game over. Impeach Olmert or die.
