2. ISRAELI LEADERS DESPICABLE BETRAYAL of KIDNAPPED IDF
Linda Rivera ,   New York   (08.15.06)
As brave IDF heroes fight and die for Israel, IDF soldiers are forced to suffer the anguish and demoralization of leaders who refuse to stand behind them. The lives of courageous IDF mean absolutely nothing to Israel's leaders who are cruel to Jews, but repeatedly show mercy to Israel's enemies. The UN resolution only refers to a return of the kidnapped soldiers in its preamble and not among the document's actual clauses. There is no mention of the kidnapped soldier in the south, Gilad Shalit. For the first time in the history of Israel, Israel's leaders surrender in war and treasonously support the UN Resolution which threatens Israel's survival.
3. UN RESOLUTION GAVE VICTORY to LEBANON-HIZBULLAH-SYRIA-IRAN
Linda Rivera ,   New York   (08.15.06)
Extreme HATE: Responsibility for compliance of the resolution is given to UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan, infamous for his fanatical hatred of Israel. Extreme DISHONESTY: The UN determined in 2,000 that Israel had withdrawn to the international border. The resolution places Shaba Farms - legally belonging to Israel - up for negotiation. The laws of nations forbids land taken through aggression. The US, EU, UN unlawfully seek to reward Lebanon-Hizbullah-Syria-Iran for their unprovoked war of aggression against Israel. Extreme RACISM: The damage and destruction to Israel is enormous. Israel's economy is devastated. Destruction in some Israeli towns is far worse than experienced by most people in the Lebanese cities of Beirut and Sidon. Profound Jew-hate and injustice is revealed in the resolution which asks for financial and humanitarian assistance for Lebanon the aggressor - but no assistance whatsoever for Israel the victim. Extreme DECEIT: Equivalency is made between Iran's Hizbullah terrorist army' vicious unprovoked acts of war against Israel - over 4,000 rockets fired at Israel and Israel's self-defense operations which the resolution refers to as "offensive" military operations. Hizbullah's rockets are packed with ball bearings to maximize the suffering of Israeli victims - the same murderous Islamist hate of 9/11 and 7/7 - an inhuman hate for non-Muslim infidels that engulfs our world in endless barbaric attacks in the Islamist war against innocents. Images show Hizbullah using high-density residential areas to launch rockets: http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/0,,19955774-5007220,00.html Extreme DECEIT: The Lebanese government and Hizbullah are one and the same. The US, EU, UN are fully aware that Hizbullah terrorists are part of Lebanon's government and that the Lebanon government actively colludes with Hizbullah: YNETNEWS (08.12.06, 16:52) Siniora accepts deal, praises Hizbullah ...steadfastness of resistance fighters in field was very important,' http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3290107,00.html Extreme DECEIT: In calling for disarmament of all armed groups in Lebanon, the US, EU, UN are fully aware Hizbullah will NEVER disarm and know they are giving Lebanon-Hizbullah victory over Israel and massive victory for Syria and Iran - who sponsor Hizbullah in Iran's war against Israel and the free world. In the global war to bring all nations under Islamic subjugation, the US, EU, UN empowerment of global jihad is a shocking betrayal of Israel and the world's non-Muslims. moe ,   montreal, Canada   (08.15.06)
hizbollah is the lebanese army, the resistance unit. ask any lebanese in the south and he will tell you the same.
5. hizballah is lebanon
herodotus   (08.15.06)
they represent half of the population so there is no point trying to separate them from the lebanese mainstream. in future the lebanese army will be the enemy.get used to it.
6. 6 Month Prognosis
Arie ,   Afula   (08.15.06)
The three stooges will be removed from office by an overwhelming majority of voters Israeli-Arabs will now have to choose between loyalty or trason A new vibrant leadership will be placed a the helm of the IDF A new vibrant leadershp with spines will be elected to lead our State Given the Lebanese army's affiliation with hezbullah, and the still-born UN resolutions calling for disengagement, we will be back in Lebanon by winter. Assad will keep shooting his mouth off The IDF will return, with a vengeance, mandate and resolve to finish the job in Lebanon and damascus. Lebanon, R.I.P. Syria,R.I.P. The NEW reality of the Middle East!
7. #4 , UN wants to destroy Israel
Mark ,   USA   (08.15.06)
Calling Hizballah , the Lebanese army, does not solve the problem. It is an invitation to war. The world knows this.
8. udi adam we are not trying to break their spirit
herodotus   (08.15.06)
we want to defeat them conclusively. i feel udi adam is the wrong man for the job.i blame him personally for not being more aggressively involved in making soldiers in northern command understand that the threat of kidnapping was imminent and real. the problem started when the former commander benny gantz was not reprimanded after the previous kidnapping.if you fail you have to resign.a culture of responsibility is needed.
9. to dan halutz
herodotus   (08.15.06)
if you are honoured with such a high position then you do not think about yourself.your only thought day and night is of the men under your responsibility.you do not think about money.you do not consider money.you do not think about shares and bonds. that you thought of the stock market when your thoughts should have so evidently been elsewhere shows as clearly as anything can that you are the wrong man for the job. leave today.
10. Nice dreams, Arie.
Umblombombo, Joseph ,   Timid Rancour, Niger   (08.15.06)
Nice dreams, Arie. I used to have them like that, too. Then, I grew up.

12. Reply to #'s 2 &3 Linda Rivera
Sean ,   Montreal, Canada   (08.15.06)
Dear Ms. Rivera, Perhaps it is a good time to have faith in the Jewish culture and first complete the six remaining days of mourning. Much good may come of this and your concerns of today may appear to you as little more than a bad dream. I wish you comfort and solace from your fears. Lovingly
13. where did all the heroes go????
Jack Hikmet ,   London, UK   (08.15.06)
I dusted off an ols 6 day war book yesterday, where did all the heroes go, where is Tal,Sharon,Joffe and Hod. Where is our fearsome intelligence, we used to know about every bunker our enemies had, every gun, every trick. Now it is the enemy that surprises us, our generals sing his praises instead of heaping them on our kids. A government that tells Syria dont worry we wont hit you?? Where did all the heroes go????
14. Cut the BS
England   (08.15.06)
You did not kill 500+ hezbollah fighters, stop trying to make people believe your lies because one day they will come to light
15. hisball is a sssshit
haim ,   mtl canada   (08.15.06)
not to worry in a very short time they will give up trust me of course hiding behind women is fair game but pp in lebenon will know about it and will stay far from these criminals so i am not worried and very confident about IDF OUR GREAT ARMY
16. #4 "maghaweer"
Joshua ,   USA   (08.15.06)
I think you are right, I won’t be surprised if Hezballah fighters joint the army and formed a maghaweer unit and assigned to the south. http://www.wanabka.net/pictures/details.php?image_id=627
17. RE: #3 Linda Rivera
Serge ,   Johannesburg   (08.15.06)
"Shabaa farm legally belongs to Israel" >> WRONG: Shabaa farm belongs either to Lebanon or to Syria as part of the Golan which annexation is not legal and not recognised but almost anyone in the world. "Destruction in some Israeli towns is far worse than experienced by most people in the Lebanese cities of Beirut and Sidon.">>WRONG AGAIN: nothing even close to 15,000 appartments and home have been destroyed in Israel. Get your facts right Linda!
18. # 3
Joshua ,   USA   (08.15.06)
Linda, Linda, Hezballa may have destroyed few houses and cars, killed 35 civilians and 120 soldiers but IDF wiped out whole villages, all Bridges and ¾ of the Beirut’s south suburbs is a mountain of rubble. Not to mention over 1000 civilians and more that 100 Hezballa fighters killed. Israel loses my be in millions but Lebanon’s in billions.
19. jack hikmet
thomas macaulay   (08.15.06)
the only heroes are the young soldiers who march to war. the six day war was no different from the war today.the press conspired to keep mistakes quiet. my problem is the total surprise evidenced by the idf at the abundance of anti tank rockets in the possession of the insurgents.they have caused major major damage.
20. England #14
X   (08.15.06)
It's obvious you are a delusional terrorist Islamonazi supporting ignorant dupe. there is all sorts of doccumented evidence that Israel destroyed at least 600 hibullah criminals
21. @ Joshua, USA
lebanese   (08.15.06)
the maghaweer you are referring were part of the lebanese forces, a right-wing christian militia allied with israel

Marcel ,   Florida   (08.15.06)
What a worthless and defeatist commander under a worthless and defeatist Halutz,Olmert and Peretz. Israelis rushed to vote for the weakest leaders she could find and here we are with their mess. retreat and surrender Olmert leads the way with Kadima backwards.
24. #13 Where are the heroes
Stefan ,   USA   (08.15.06)
The heroes are gone because the public, (left side) has complete vision of what it takes to win a war and will not let it occur. Now it will be worse. As a former soldier, I know that you fight better when you believe your leaders are on the same team. IDF has seen that theirs are not and each grunt will know this in the next war. Agreeing to peace is not seen as a move of strength by arabs. They only respect force, never comprimise. Primitive cultures cannot discern beyond two outcomes. Victory or defeat.
25. Oh.....general!
John ,   USA   (08.15.06)
>>However, as noted above, he expressed worries that Hizbullah terrorists would be able to return to southern Lebanon as soldiers in the Lebanese army.<< Return? I have a feeling that they never left!
26. forget about hezballah
Joe ,   Lebanon   (08.15.06)
guys, forget about hezballah winning or loosing this war, noone won. you guys were brought to this war by a trick from hezballah instructed by their masters in Iran and Syria. can anyone please explain to me when the hell are we gonna see TWO DAVID STARS on the SYRIAN FLAG???? then you will be able to get rid of hezballah and all syrian guys in lebanon like: General Micheal Aoun, Sulaiman Frangieh, Omar Karameh, Weam Wahab, Najah Wakeem, Fathi Yakan, Khaled Hedadeh, and most importantly EMIL LAHOUD. Then perhaps guys like Dr Samir Geagea & Walid Jounblat can become presidents and more effective leaders for the New Lebanon who will be free by its own land and its own army. Noone wants war in Lebanon, against Israel or any other force, except for those syrian-iranian followers planted here. I know you might not give a rat's ass about what i say simply cuz im lebanese, but its a point of view worth looking at for the future.
27. cut the bs. to number 14
bill   (08.15.06)
israel identified and announced teh names of 180 of them. stop believing that only the "civilians" dies in lebanon. civilians who shoot are no longer civilians. more to come. unfortunately, it should have been 5000 not 500. that would make me happier
28. No Kidding!
James Biga ,   Colorado Springs USA   (08.15.06)
Of course Hizbollah is hiding amogst people returning. Of course they are going to infiltrate the "Lebanese Army". Hisbollah will abide by nothing because they have agreed to nothing. The Lebanese Government does not speak for Hizbollah. They were not defeated and are being praised as heroes by Iran and Syria as well as the "Palestinians." The present situation is only a recess while Hizbollah learns and rearms. The real War is yet to come. Will Olmert still be in charge?
29. 4moe : . hizbllah
Casiopea   (08.15.06)
then you mean Lebanon has become a rogue state.
30. 17 Serge
Casiopea   (08.15.06)
I don’t know if there is more or less destruction in Israel than in Lebanon. By Lynda is right. Hizbollah started this war from Lebanon. Now the Lebanese will receive aid and the Israelis won't. This is absolutely unfair.
