In contrast, Israeli self-defense unintentionally results in deaths of civilians intentionally used as human shields by their "resistence fighters". Had Israel targeted civialns, the death toll would have been in the tens of thousands - and still a fraction of Iran's plan for Israel. It is ironic that Hezbollah and Hamas thrive on the deaths of their own people, who ignorantly support them. It is a culture of death and of devaluation of life.
