How do you expect Arabs and other minorities to feel when you say : "The country has the right to defend itself and its Jewish-democratic character." Being strictly Jewsih keeps minorities as such out of the game and make them feel secluded. Avigdor Lieberman does not want a Jewish State in peace with its Arab minority. He is the same person in the past that has promoted ethnic cleansing views in the past to rid Israel of Arabs. Two years ago, MKs already suggested that the arab triangle be exchanged for the Jewish settlements. I beleive that Israel is mismanaged in the sense that noone at the Knesset should have allegiance with the enemy whose goals are to destroye Israel. All law-abiding citizens of the State of Israel, upon commencing and after completing their military service, should be permitted to retain their military-issue rifle - as paid for by taxes levied on the people - and any other arms they choose to aquire thereafter, for use in the defence of the nation, their life and their property.

Arab-Israelis, or the palastenians with Israeli passport are mixed of different religions, they are mixed of christians and muslims, and lots of jews before forming the state of Israel were also palastenians. the name Arab-Israelis is wrong. they are neither Arab nor Israelis, they are palastenians and they live in Palestine, no matter what they call it right now.

It's about time. No other ethnic groups in the world would tolerate such internal attacks or sedition.

There is a wide berth given in democratic societies to opinions and political thought. But, democracy does not mean that you have the right to actively bring about, or incite, the destruction of your country. That is treason, giving aid and comfort to the enemies. If you are so beyond the pale that you wish your country to fail, then you do not deserve citizenship. Look at the Civil War in the United States - Abraham Lincoln did not see the Constitution as permitting secession. Fundamentally, if you don't support your own country's right to exist and its soldiers to be returned, you should leave and go to Teheran where you'd feel more welcome.
