After posturing for weeks about leading a peacekeeping force they have now achieved a new record for themselves and surrendering before the possibility of hostilities. Perhaps they need a peacekeeping force to protect the peacekeeping force. Such a turn reminds us again that the french are without embarassement or honor and that it is all for the moment.

The world DOES CARE about the Lebanese people. The problem is that the world cares more about resisting militarized guerilla terrorist factions. If Lebanon were to take a public stand against terrorism, announce that it was dead serious about disarming the hezzbos, and give up this "death to Israel and death to America" bullsh!t you would see nations tripping over each other to help Lebanon.
