To be effective against arms smuggling, commando raids would have to carried on a regular basis, in which case they would lose an element of surprise and likely fail. Get rid of Olmert before he decimates the IDF's moral and deterrent capabilities to prop up his political futures.

That justified existance of Hizbullah, if Lebanon army were defending its country Hizbullan will be unnecessary organization and inevitabely will be disarmed. Basics: You cannot chose your enemy yourself , you cannot expect replacement of your enemy with your puppet Lebanan army. 3. International force will never come, at least there will not be any effective force. Each army is responsible to defend its country itself not Israelis. Their comming will mean to support your further aggression leaving them face to face with Hizbullah . You will bomb and they will confront Hizbullah!. What a funny logic and expectation. You can only find one army convenient for that purpose in the earth:US army. Do not expect anyting from others. 4. You cannot stop arms traffic. It may be carried in parts on horse backs through montains as well and Hizbullah will have more and better guns as any supplier saw they are worth to support. So either make up your mind and sit with that terrible defeat you faced in Lebanon and keep ceasefire with all unenforceable articles or start everyting from scratch going back to shelters, paying higher taxes, giving more deaths, material and business losses, getting ready even for a worse defeat.

First of all Israel must blame Lebanon for not keeping the conditions of the UN resolution 1701. It must be done on official level of open policy. Nothing behind the stage.
