To be honest, I think it is a shame Israel isn't occupying all the land from Morrocco to Iran. Certainly there would be a lot more accomplishments to show for all that occupying of land.
32. You kill Nasrallah. You get millions of new Nasrallah!!

33. lack of discipline
Mustafa ,   Egypt   (08.20.06)
That is why the IDF was defeated. Did the IDF officer has the permission to speak for the IDF and in behalf of Israel? This is what every military discipline all over the world knows. You are not in a stance to afford more lack of discipline.

with all respect to Jew as religion. let's go back to the root of the problem . Is it possible in United states of American or any European country that a guy born in Russia or Africa be a US President ?! It is NOT possible according to US constitution though there is free election process " democracy ". Therefore, why this happens in Isreal ?! most of the israeli people specifically israeli prime ministers came from Poland and Russia . Therefore, they are facing a resistance coz they are occupying land. the only solution is that, those people that came from europe they have to go back to their orginal country.
37. Nasrallah's funeral
Paul Simons ,   Wildwood USA   (08.20.06)
Although I would personally like to see the demise of the stinking hezbull, and it is well deserved, I wonder how many Israelis would die in the aftermath. His followers live for reasons to take revenge, their lives are devoted to revenge killing.
38. #34 - Brainless
Christopher ,   Austin, Texas   (08.20.06)
Well see abdulkader, they tried a whole bunch times. And each time their enemies take advantage of Israel's honest, good and desperate intentions and use it against them. Yep, as ol Terrorfat said "there will be peace when the jes drink the Sea of Gaza". So are you without a Brain akbajkaiudster? or are you just a supporter of terrorism and what the jews to drink the Sea of Gaza?
39. #35 Terror supporter-agree-er
Christopher ,   Austin, Texas   (08.20.06)
Well John, we can deal with more than one supporter of terror. Take a number, we'll eventually get around to dealing with you.
40. To #16 Yossi and #17Lindon
Chanan ,   Jerusalem   (08.20.06)
Firstly my rank in the IDF is of no consequence, safe to say I am well versed an active in our military operations. There are solutions to this ideological problem and it can not be done by the IDF, Israel or the western world, infact it is only the Lebanese people that can break the backs of the ideology forced on its people. Lindon, you are very brave to comment sitting in Milpitas, California. Israel is not under the threats it once was as neither is the world, our mistake is that we play right into the hands of an ideology that is bent on the destruction of western civilizations. Your reference to Entebbe, Munich etc has no bearing on what is the reality today, so as I said in my talkback think real hard before commenting, something you have overlooked. In the same light you have to understand who are our enemies and what are they. My name on my birth certificate is Chanan, on my teudat zehut, on my darkon, on my pinkas choger, so is it that you are unfamiliar with the name or do you just not like it. Forums and talkbacks are great ways to vent, share feelings and even offer constructive dialogue, but you have not followed these attributes. Nasrallah as charismatic as he is, is a mere a tool, a tool that can be replaced, the ideology is no tool and it can never be replaced by assassinating him. It is our failure and that of our government, its institutions and that of the world that have strengthened ideologies hell bent on destroying us, so next time you wish to comment take heed of what I said and think before commenting. Maybe the Library in Santa Clara has some accurate reading material for you. And lastly I need no lesson on Israel, its beginning and the coming of Mashiach.

So the solution is that al the europeans go home does that mean all the arabs in the US and Europe must return to their country of orgin too? Also don't forget most the the middle eastern countries were formed by the Europeans so how far back do you go to determine an original country. Weren't the Jews driven from their lands to start with?

Adam West ,   Monterey USA   (08.20.06)
Since Israel has decided to violate the cease fire, continue flying over Lebanon airspace, I believe for Hezbollah to lay down their arms in accordance with 1559 should be placed on hold. I'm neither an Arab or a Jew, but I don't believe Israel should be the super power of the Middle east. There is a need for a two state solution for the Palestinians. There shouldn't be any pre-conditions such as the right of Israel to exist. This can be resolved once there is a two state, and I believe once that happens, I believe Palestine will acknowlege Israel has a right to exist. Until then, I doubt seriously they will make an oral statement to that effect. Israel complained about the theft of 2 soldiers, however fails to mention that previously, it would send troops into Lebanon to kidnap people. There needs to be a diplomatic session and exchange prisoners, Israel to remove all its forces from Lebanon and comply with UN Resolution 242 in addition to the other 63 resolutions that have not been fulfilled completely. As for Iran and Syria supplying arms to Hezbollah is no different than the US, UK and EU supplying material to Israel. Each country is considered a soverign nation and needs to have a sufficient military to protect its government, people and its land. Nasarallah has been very impressive in his speeches and must be recognized as a leader among the Arab world.

Ans1# Dont Forget that Arab in US can not be US Presidents ?? Don't Forget , US was formed by migration of all nationalities ( arab and none arab ) Don't Forget the US was formed by killing Red Indian the orginal citizen of what u call US Dont Forget , this is important , US does not have a problem called Arab LAND Occupation in any state of US Don't Forget Jews come to Palasine in the early of last century under British occupation Ans2# in last few decades we as arab face orginzed occupation " colonized " by Eourpean and they divided muslim world so that we become weaker and the solution was to get rid of occupation and Eoupean " Britan - France - Italy " go back to Eoupe. Q# WHY Jews driven from their lands in Eoupe ??
45. Killing is not the solution.
Yusuf ,   Jerusalem   (08.21.06)
Israel has before killed cheikh Yassine the Leader of Hamas, did it solve the problem with Hamas? Killing Nasrallah will not solve the problem with Hizbullah either and Nasrallah is more than willing to die for his cause. In fact killing him will raise him to a state of a martyr to the rank of all the shiites past leaders.
46. Dear Chris
John ,   Dublin   (08.23.06)
Civilized Americans have just about totaly had with supporters of terror in this country. You support terror, and your considered an enemy of the US, and will will be dealt with accordingly if idiocy was taxed in America. America wouldn't have to rely on the arms trade as a major source of revenue. America has been the biggest supporter of terror over the last fifty years. Who funded death squads in central america. who funded iraq when they were fighting iran? who funded the mujahadeen which osama led in the 1980's. who killed thousands in cambodia. who killed numerous democratically elected heads of state worldwide, including iran's in the 1950's. who talks peace yet is the biggest arms dealer in the world who will supply to any side as long as the price. all the time talking about peace. look up the word paradox.
