He brought about positive change in his community through PEACE, UNDERSTANDING, and getting his oppressors to see the righteousness that his people deserved to be treated fairly. Mohatma Ghandi was a "hero." He liberated his country from colonial British rule through NON-VIOLENT protest, wisdom and making his oppressors see the righteousness of his cause. But Nasrallah? Bin Laden? Zarquawi? What have they done for the Muslim community? They spread VIOLENCE, DESTRUCTION, HATRED, LIES AND DEATH and have done nothing positive to change the minds of those he perceives are their people's oppressors. They have not gained anything but more future violence. If the Arabs truly want to improve their lot in the Middle East, they have to learn to admire people who can achieve their goals through the same means used by the true "heroes" mentioned above, who were successful in bringing about positive and permanent change. If the Muslims continue to idolize false, lying, evil men who focus on death, hatred and destruction, then they are unlikely to achieve any of their dreams of peace and freedom from oppression.
