nancy richards ,   carrollton, tx, usa   (08.20.06)
I wish ronny sofer was prime minister. somebody, several somebodies, never intended Israel to win this war. this is not just hapless on their part, it is on purpose, and may they be exposed and removed from their post. how shameful to send these courageous people to fight without even enough water to drink!
2. Super-Mario must go!
Andy ,   Toronto, Canada   (08.20.06)
It's time to replace Super-Mario. Bring in Luigi!
3. who will investigate?
jack ,   USA   (08.21.06)

4. Stinking Kadima
Jerry ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (08.21.06)
It is up to the journalists who made the party of defectors and criminals into a legitimate political entity to undo it as well. They are a group with only personal ambition, who care nothing about the PEOPLE of this country. Tell it like it is, journalists! People of Israel, don't sit home waiting for the next war which we will lose again if these same losers are still running the show!! Demand that this government resign and that we go to new elections right away.
5. Why All The Surprise In The Regime?
Adina Kutnicki ,   US   (08.21.06)
The bottom line is this - a regime that not only created 10,000 Jewish refugees from Gush Katif & Samaria, and which did not even meet their obligations after the expulsion, is not a regime that can be counted on to assist the new people traumatized from the war. Why is everyone so surprised?? And, where were you all during last year's trauma?
6. They must leave now
Joe ,   Trenton, US   (08.21.06)
Kadima must go now. What they are waiting for. Do the Kadima has at least one semi-honest man?
7. The same P.R. team of course!!
Sherlock   (08.21.06)
The ones who suddenly slipped in the couple of bulletins on Mr Sharon, at the worst( one of many) part of the Wag the Dog war. Noticed? No more bulletins... Same PR firm running it all, laughing all the way. ( to guess which bank) So obvious, no finesse or subtlety.
8. THE SMART BARBARIC "BERBER" LOOOL

9. #6
(08.21.06)
No.Just a PR firm
10. No need to investigate
jason white ,   afula,israel   (08.21.06)
We know the kadima/labor regime was responsible.Let us throw them out and perhaps jail them. They should be banned from politics and not allowed to communicate with anyone. The reporters that pushed kadima on us and the p.r. firms that worked for them should be banned from working in their fields.
11. # 5 - Adina
Lauren ,   Israel   (08.21.06)
And where were YOU during last year's trama? Busy critising us here, no doubt, maybe even calling our soldiers barbarians, eh? Adina, what regime are you talking about? Do you even know who was the prime minister when the evacuation from Gush Katiff took place? Another American Jew who thinks they can tell us how to live here. Do I tell you where to buy your kosher meat? Or who to vote for? If you don't live here, don't complain. Or...you can come and live here and then earn the right to say whatever you want about our politics, and complain, demonstrate, volunteer to help the people who lost everything in the north, visit wounded soldiers, my there is a lot you can do, besides writing talkbacks that are not only anti government here, but anti Israel. Trying to draw a comparison between the evacuees from Gaza, to the present situation in which people in the north were being threatened by missiles, is so irrelevant, and you seem to be using this (as many of you do) as just another way of pushing in your resentment about giving land for peace. Get over it, it was done, it didn't work, but it has nothing to do with Hezbollah, capiche? The people in the north in Israel lived a month of terror, and you should give them the respect they deserve, if nothing else.
12. Israel led by lunatics.
Moshe ,   Jerusalem   (08.21.06)
Time to send them back to the Kadimaville asylum.
13. #11 Lauren: I made aliyah and agree with #5.
Yakov ,   Ashkelon   (08.21.06)
I made aliyah from America and was here before and during the Gaza defeat and abandonment. Bibi warned us but we did not listen. We bought the Kadima song-and-dance and have been burned ever since. Hamas has been firing at southern Israel and Hizbullah now controls the north, whether Kadima wants us to believe it or not. Land for peace is nothing but destruction of Israel piece by piece. Now another Kadima hack (Dichter) is babbling about giving away the Golan so Syria and Iran can install missile batteries there. Israel is led by lunatics infected with Oslo psychosis.
14. Remadies of trerroism
Thoms John ,   Pakistan Karachi   (08.21.06)
I appreciate inter religion dialogue. So I found there are these basic points which directly affect Pakistan Israel relationship and other non Muslim country. Ø Syllabus of primary and secondary level education of every Muslim country must be required to change according to globally peaceful condition specially our country. Ø Example .1 : Teacher teaches Children's during the age of 6+ from their text book, that a Muslim leader Ali being a Muslim hero killed a Jewish village leader "Marhab" in their first attempt during the attack on Jewish village to obey the order of Their prophet, (God give him honorable name the lion of God on the Killing of Jewish leader) Ø Example .2 : During the age of 3+ lower and upper nursery all the children learned by the teacher as under, Teacher: Who are we? Children: loudly replied Muslims. Teacher: where we go after death? Children: loudly paradise. Teacher: and all other non Muslins? Children: loudly in the hell. Teacher: Who will live forever? Children: Sheheed will live forever. Teacher: Who is Shaheed? Children: Who die in the “Jehaad” (war against non Muslim) is called Shaheed. They will be interring in paradise without any stoppage. Note: this brain wash is main base of terrorism especially for next coming generation. Ø Activities of religious groups must be required to strictly banned (especially Jamaat Islami Pakistan as top class mastermind 9/11 khalid Omer Sheikh and others terrorist captured, said organization leaders home). As my country is badly affected in this account Ø To establish new school for poor children, against religious leader's school (just like Islamic Madrsha for poor student's) who created Talibaan type organization, as they are so dangerous for human being. I appreciated first bold step of Belgium government against fundamentalism as their government was strictly refused to inter Islamic religious leader Molana Sami Ul Haq(parliamentarian). in Europe whenever UK Government at present allow to inter Islami leader Molana Fuzul ur Rehman (parliamentarian) resulted they are up to till know engaged to provide protection for their air ports. It is fact that Islamic religious leaders created terrorist organizations in our society to get money, political power and other benefits, such as Talibaan, Al-Qauida, Jamaat Islami etc. my country is being badly suffered by the fundamentalist Islamic religious leaders activities, which directly affected the economy and development of my country.
15. # 13 - Yakov
Lauren ,   Israel   (08.21.06)
Bibi warned us? Do you mean the same Bibi who stole from the poor and gave more to the rich in Israel? The same Bibi who cheated all of us, and used his power only for personal gain? Is this who you mean? Look, all politicians are corrupt, and the very few who aren't just don't seem to be very strong here. I fail to see the similarity of the situation in Gush Katif as a parallel to the situation up north, although both count as failures in my mind. The first, because many of us bought into the illusion of having some kind of peace with the Palestinians, and the second, because our spineless incompetent government screwed up totally. But what we faced now was not a situation in which we wanted to hold onto a few settlements, this was a major war with Iranian trained gorilla terrorists, who didn't give a hoot about land, or claims to land. Their objective is to kill all of us, no matter what, with no option of negotiations whatsoever. To compare the residents of the north who were under heavy missile fire, for a month, in an attack led by Iranian trained and hardened terrorists, to the situation in Gush Katif, where sadly our own soldiers had to physically remove Jews from their homes, is disrespectful to the soldiers and to the northern residents. The dangers or threats both faced are similar because of the threat of terrorism, but I recall clearly people (maybe like Adina), comparing our soldiers to Nazis, or barbarians at the time of this "abandonment" as you term it. The evacuees are most certainly not refugees, and they had places to live, did not lose their possessions, and did not spend a month shaking in fear before they left. On the contrary; they physically attacked Israeli soldiers, and insulted them with words that certainly do not suit people who live according to Zionist ideologies, many of them religious. I resent that whole episode being brought in now, by American Jews who don't even live here, but obviously have an awful lot to say about how the poor evacuees are still suffering. I wish most of Israel's poor "suffered" the same! I still stand by my principle that if you don't live here, keep your political opinions to your group meetings over there, we don't need to hear it. We have enough to deal with now. Alternatively, as I suggested before: if you are so involved with Israel, then get on a plane and come live here.
16. I TOLD YOU SO, YOUR DREAMS BLINDED YOU

18. The people need...
david ,   florida   (08.21.06)
to take to the streets and demand that the mks be personally elected and responsible to the people. If new elections are called, most of the same people will be returned to the Knesset; so what will be accomplished by having the gov't resign?
19. To Lauren # 11
Adina Kutnicki ,   US   (08.21.06)
To Lauren # 11- You seem to be the one who is confused. IF it weren't for the actions of the Sharon regime (with Olmert as a major instigator/player) Hizbullah would not have dared attack with its missiles. They saw a weak and appeasement oriented regime ready to fold like a cheap suit. In addition, they saw as a result of expulsion the emergence of Hamastan. Do you think they are so stupid as to not have connected these (appeasement) dots? Furthermore, since my son was a recent chayil boded stationed at the Lebanese border I certainly have a right and an obligation to stick my nose in. For many many other reasons I will continue to do so, whether you or others like it or not.
