As an Evangelical Christian and a strong supporter of the State of Israel I do believe in forgiveness. If Mel is contrite and attends some type of face to face meeting with as many Jewish leaders as possible, I think he apologizes he should be forgiven this one time only. Should it occur again then no forgiveness should be given. He needs to understand the close relationship between Evengelical Christians and Jews.
