1. Race does not = religion
Spinner ,   Israel   (08.24.06)
This racist statement "Another topic studied in the survey was whether Jews were willing to lease apartments to Arabs: Sixty-two percent said they would not compared to 35 percent who said they would. Furthermore, 56 percent said it would bother them if a neighbor rented out his apartment to an Arab, whereas 42 percent said it wouldn't." This is NOT "Jews were willing to lease apartments to Arabs" And the Jews wonder why people around the world don't like or hate them.....racist surveys like this should NOT be published!! And YNET call CNN bias....YNET should change their name to YNOT...since most of the articles they write are looked at and the answer given is yeah "why not" it will make us look bad...but that's their (the readers) problem not ours!!! Quit publishing crap like this PLEASE!!!!!!! Get the facts THE REAL TRUE FACTS STRAIGHT AND INVESTIGATE BEFORE YOU WRITE AND PUBLISH!!! Like any true journalist would do!!!

We need a comprehensive peace in the Mid-East.
4. ONLY 27% SUPPORTED ISRAEL: Dishonest Headline
Yishai Kohen ,   YeShA, Israel   (08.24.06)
What is important is that 3/4 of "our" Arabs did NOT support Israel. They are thorns in our eyes- a 5th column in our midst.
5. Israeli-Arabs Are in Danger
Dave Levi ,   Burbank. USA   (08.24.06)
Let's face it, in any future was (Iran, Egypt, Syria), Israeli Arabs are in harm's way. That was proven during this latest crisis, when rockets did not disciminate who they hit. This use of unguided missiles, might be corrected in any future war with some rockets, but Katys cannot be more precise. In a nuclear exhange, Iran would probably kill as many Muslims as Jews. The quesiton then for Israeli-Arabs should be: why do any of us support Hezbollah considering they hide their fighters and weapons in populated areas, obviously to incur minimal damage and cause Israel real headaches. The UN cease fire may have created a worse situation..now Hezbollah can prepare for the next round, with Israel still restrained. In the middle guess who?
6. the arabs + ME
Micheew ,   Germany   (08.24.06)
me too i support them why? because israel is doing things without any moral or human limits And at the end of the day, when all will be solved (politically, not in the hearts) we will admit that i was better to negociate from the begining at the end israel will give them back their lands, golan, shebba, palestine territories and sign peace but now, it is the time for the arrogance crisis In the past , other people did that and regret after ... don't forget it
7. #6...huh?
DR ,   Florida, USA   (08.24.06)
Israel has offered peace many times to all the groups you have mentioned. It seems you fail to see reality, that is, that the palestinians were the ones to reject peace. Hezballah and Hamas continue to threaten and attack Israel, but yet all you can see is Israel's response in self defence. Talk about morals...who hides behind women and children while firing rockets???Not israel...wake up!!!
8. Israelis also love Nasrallah
Foley ,   Manchester UK   (08.24.06)
If you were to hold a poll in Israel and ask people if they prefer to have a leader like Olmert or Nasrallah, I bet you they 90% of Israelis would say they wish their leader like Hassan Nasrallah. Don't kid yourselves; you admire Hezbollah leader more than your own prime minister. He is a real man. Not a mouse like Olmert. He had all the qualities you desire in your leaders. Netanyahu comes close but he still fall short of the Nasrallah. Even your top army officers admit that they have utmost respect for Nasrallah's qualities. Dont you think its time you should talk to the man.
9. The 5h columnites
Arie ,   Afula   (08.24.06)
The time has come to exchange the arab triangle for the settlements. Their ELECTED (now ther's a term that is non-existent in arabic) routinely decry the existence of the Jewish State. Give them what they want - move them to areas controlled by their fellow muHAMedans, OH WAIT-that was suggested after they kept screaming for a pali government and they started screaaming that we were taking their complaints and demands out of context. Well..let's put them in context, let them move to Gaza, or lebanon, or syria. Then let' REALLY watch them cry!
10. to Micheew #6
Mike ,   Atlanta, USA   (08.24.06)
And what assurances for security do the Arabs provide Israel in return? Can you clearly state what they could entail (besides "not attacking or supporting guerilla groups") and how the Arab states would enforce them? I don't believe you can. Ask yourself why the Arab states attacked Israel upon its founding. The Israelis will have to give that land back too.
11. ARAB MK Bishara Called SEVERAL TIMES FOR INTIFADA
Linda Rivera ,   New York   (08.24.06)
against Israel. The rabid Jew-hate of ethnically cleansing 10,000 Gaza and north Samaria Jews violated Article 80 of the United Nations Charter, broke Israel's Basic Human Rights Law and Clause 9 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Patriotic Jews, including children, are brutally beaten and jailed. Jewish taxpayers who pay Arab MK Bishara's salary are FORCED to FINANCE TREASON! Arab Israeli MKs who are openly genocidal to Jews and support the violent overthrow of Israel are members of Israel's government! No other nation on earth allows such treason. Will Jews revolt against their forced financing of treason and Arab MK hate incitement to a second holocaust of Jews? From article on the violent Arab Muslim Israeli riots in 2000 'Let's investigate everything' by Yaron London, 10/2/05 http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3150205,00.html The report offers a history of Arab demonstrations and protests that over time have become evermore extreme. The report also mentions several individuals that contributed, through words and through silence, to the progression from legitimate protest into a violent, destructive riot. Leaders of the Islamic Movement, wrote the Or Commission, fanned the flames by accusing Israel of planning to destroy the Islamic holy sites on the Temple Mount, and openly sympathizing with Hizbullah and al-Qaeda. MK Azmi Bishara (National Democratic Assembly) has said the Shiite militia should be a role model for the struggle with Israel, and has called several times for an intifada against Israel. Arab-Israeli leaders should be investigated The Or Commission- including one Arab justice and another member considered an important expert in Arab culture - rejected Bishara's evasive comments, and had this to say about the part Israeli Arab leaders played in the October, 2000 riots: Individuals such as the leaders of the Supreme Israeli Arab Monitoring Committee, the Islamic Movement, and Knesset Members Tibi, Bishara, Dehamshe and Zahalka were full partners to the outbreak of riots in October, 2000, and therefore also bear responsibility for the deaths of 13 of their brethren." The following is part of an article from jerusalempost.com, Sept. 25 2005 'Column One: Israel's disengaged establishment' by Caroline Glick: "...recall what happened five years ago. Following months of increased violence and extremism in the Arab-Israeli sector incited directly by the Palestinian Authority, the Israeli Islamic Movement and the Arab members of Knesset, violent riots seized the Arab sector of Israel in October 2000. During the week of riots, Arab Israelis threw rocks and Molotov cocktails at Israeli civilian cars throughout the country. Israeli motorists were dragged out of their cars on Highway 65 along Wadi Ara and beaten. An Israeli motorist was murdered when Arabs from Jasser a-Zarka threw a rock at his windshield as he drove down the coastal highway..."

15. To 8
Shai ,   Israel   (08.24.06)
It's not the quality of the leadership that defines the value of a nation, it's the value of the citizenship. Unlike the Lebanese who cower in the face of their leaders and their neighbors, we are enraged at the cowardice of our leaders, which is so mismatched to who we are. Therefore, there is no need to talk to Nasrallah. His day will come at the hands of the common Israeli blue collar worker - we don't look to the aristocracy to define who we are, and we don't look to Nasrallah to define who our enemy is. So if you are advising Israel to "tak to the man" recognize this - we have tried talking since Oslo and it's brought us nothing but gall, and Nasrallah is part of the reward for our pollyanish belief that peace cold be achieved with our neighbors. It can't. Therefore, Israel will have the last word, of this you can be sure.

SO DON'T GIVE ALL THIS STUFF ABOUT HOW EVIL ISRAELI ARAB-MUSLIMS ARE .
17. Since the bus tragedy in Sinai
Chaya ,   Bat Yam   (08.24.06)
I think that many - if not most - Arabs living in Israel will come to the conclusion where they are better off. We cannot neglect them and their towns and villages. But, at the same time, they have to be taught that a 'palestinain' state is as much a danger to them as it is to the Jews. And they also have to be taught Jewish history and about Eretz Yisrael. They have to understand that there never was a 'palestinian' people. They should be respected as a minority as long as they don't try to harm the interests of the State.
18. More Arab Israelis supported Israel than Hizbullah
Jake   (08.24.06)
---When asked "Who did you want to win the second war in Lebanon?" 27 of them answered "Israel," only 18 percent said they were on Nasrallah's side, and 36 percent did not support either side. When asked "To what extend do the Arab members of the Knesset represent your points of view?" 44 percent replied that the Arab members of the Knesset do not represent them at all---- That is good news! It's not perfect, but a step in the right direction. Israel has got its priorities wrong; it should take a hawkish position to its enemies and do more damage to Hizbullah. But on the home front, things are different. Arab Israelis suffer the same fate as their Jewish fellow countrymen. They die in Katyusha attacks, suicide bombings, are hated by the Arab world, and in the recent bus accident in Egypt they were treated like beasts and allowed to bleed to death simply for being Israeli. Wake up Israel. Jews and Arabs in Israel have only each other. Israel should give its Arab citizens full equality and integration into its national institutions and structures, with no budgetary discrimination, and after that if an Arab in Israel insists on supporting Israel's enemies, let him settle in Damascus or cross the Nafud desert.
19. Israelis want Nasrallah?
Ingrid ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (08.24.06)
You really believe that Israelis would rather have a terrorist for a leader? And Nasrallah's tactics make him a man??? He's no "man" I would ever respect.
20. Jordan vs Israel
Ingrid ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (08.24.06)
Last time I checked., Israeli Arabs are not Jordianians...they are Israelis. So I am not sure what Jordian law has to do with people's feelings about renting apts in Israel...
21. to Micheew in Germany
Ingrid ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (08.24.06)
How is supporting terrorist organizations really doing anything to combat the parts of Israeli policy you agree with? Do you honestly prefer totalitarian governments, or weak democracies to a government like Israel's? I get your point, but I think it is all too easy for people to reduce the discussion about Israel and the Arab world to black and white, right or wrong. History itself proves things are rarely so simple. And I would not compare Germany's imperialism during WWII to Israel's behaviour as a state today.
22. Arabs off Har HaBeit

read "Reclaiming the Temple Mount" a book by David Haivri order today www.revava.com
23. why shouldn't they?
moe ,   montreal, Qc   (08.24.06)
Nassrallah was more honest then Olmert and Co. he didn't lie at all, he was honest and forward, he told the ARab-Israelis the rocket doesn't read their IDs, he was sorry that some of them die by Katyuchas, He was sorry and Olmert wasn't. All what they heard from him was good, all what they got from Olmert was lies. so, why not to like him?? and remember, after all Nassrallah is not their enemy, he didn't come and took their land, kicked their families out of their land, Israel did, Nassrallah is one of them, he is lebanese and they are Palastinians. Israelis are mix from all over the world, and they don't belong, or the palastinians don't belong to their many mixes.
24. Kick them out!
(08.24.06)
25. CHANGE THIS BS HEADLINE
Agnostidox   (08.24.06)
The headline states that the Majority of Israeli Arabs supported Hizbollah, but the artilce only states that 18 percent supported them. 18=51? What kind of math is this. Or maybe the headline should have read MINORITY. Either way, change this misleading and incorrect headline.
26. Question for Arabs/Muslims Only?
vit ,   usa   (08.24.06)
If the Arab states kicked out all the Jews out of their nations after 1948 (Israel's creation), why shouldn't Israel remove all the Arabs out of Israel? After all...there are 24 Arab/Muslim nations and only one small Israel? Can one of you answer that question for me? Please don't go ape! Just talk to the facts. Thanks.
27. Arab loyalties?
Caring ,   Jerusalem   (08.24.06)
Why is anyone surprised that they supported Hizbollah? Whenever they have demonstrate about 'unfair' Israel, you will see only PA flgas NEVER an Israeli one. Their MK's take an oath of 'upholding the laws of the country, etc' and then commit perjury by going to enemy countries and speaking against Israel. But they are alright because Justice Barak tells them so, yet he would punish anyone who would perjure himself in HIS court!
28. Headline is correct
J.C. ,   TN   (08.24.06)
You idiots that say the headline is wrong, go read it again, and again, until you read what it says. What are you people smoking?
29. Polled were right-sided jews
Spinner ,   World   (08.24.06)
I'm sure the people poled were only right-winged jews like Linda Rivera!! Or maybe Gabrielle GoldH20. This says nothing about true Israelis!! All the Arabs I know in Israel (northern) wanted Nasrallah defeated. But now since Israel destroyed most if not all of Lebanon....Hizbullah will now, not only grow stronger....but will weave itself into Lebanon's government even more!!! Who's going to help the devastated people.... Hizbullah.... Who's going to support and help rebuild Lebanon.... Hizbullah.... Who's going to be giving money and services to these poor souls.... Hizbullah!!!!!!!!!!!! If you want to defeat Hizbullah.....do more to help the people and win them away from Hizbullah!!!!! Come on you are mostly jews on htis site....think about it MONEY TALKS!!! You are not buying your enemy....you are helping foster a trusting relationship!!

moe ,   montreal, Qc   (08.24.06)
for your info, the No one kicked the Jews asses from their countries, not even what you call the arab-nations, before the 48, in Palastine, it used to live lots of people from different religions, but from one background, Palastinians, and after the UK promise for the jews to create their own nation, lots of jews started to come to the area protected by the british to fulfill the promise, and I don't have to tell you about the war, and how the jews took the land and kicked the original people out, and masscared many others to create Israel. lots of jews used to live in (arab) countries, and lost still live in some other countries, regardless all the tension created by the war. if the jew, anywhere, think palestine is their land, and they have to go and live on it, they have a problem then, cause you can't live in a country and work for other, some jews faced same problem in Europe, Germany and Russia for example, and we all know what happened in Germany. it's a wrong concept that jews live in palestine as if it's theirs, and muslims live in other muslim country and not in palestine, if they are from over there, you live where you belong and if you want to live some where else, this shouldn't happen by force, and you can't just go and take other's land and declare it yours, regardless your religion. Palastinians belong to a country, regardless their religion, and no one has the right to take their country from them, this was always the problem, and the solution starts from here too.
