I am from Rmeich, my father was ex SLA. He spent some time in prison here in Lebanon and now he is more than grateful that he's home in the mother country. Our family has never been aggressed by any Hezbollah member or supporter. Those people have more dignity then the israeli when they threw away my father! We Christians in Lebanon don't expect anything good from Israeli, some of us tried them before, it was disastrous, they delivered the chouf mountain to Syrian militia in 1983, they backed syrian intervention against legal Lebanese army in 1990, as for SLA they left them and run away in 2000.Wake up people.

In 1983, Israel abandoned the Chouf region because the Lebanese government was unable to implement the terms of a peace or non-aggression treaty with Israel that it had signed. Israel allowed the DRUZE, not Syrian, militia into the Chouf region because guess what: Israel had no quarrel with the Lebanese Druzes, only with PLO. Plenty of Israeli soldiers are Druzes, and for Israel to get into a war with Druzes in Lebanon is insane and suicidal and pointless for all sides. Face it: The Bashar Jemayel government was brought down by pro-Syrian Christians, and Amine Gemayel was too weak to deliver.
