At the end you are back to negotiation and cutting a deal .. what was the point of your stupid bombing ???? You could have negotiated from the begening and spared the lives of 1200 lebanese innocent civilian and also the israely civilians .. shame on u Olmert

Egyptian president shouldnt interfear into Arab business..he is an Israeli traitor..he should keep his hands off Arabs and keep his big mouth shut ...

Now hizbollah understands the repurcussions of kidnapping Israelis. If they strike at israel again, they do so with full knowledge of the consequences. Now an international force will work towards keeping the peace and preventing hizbolla from attacking israel. That is what this war accomplished.
4. #1 - of course it wasn;t

and it's a sickening shame that the hizbullah started it and took so many innocent lives, jewish, arab and others. and it's even more shameful the way people like you have helped them get away with it and will coninue to help them. you don't care about the israeli lives they are destroying. but how can you not see that THEY are the ones destroying arab lives as well? why are they excused their responsibility in the destruction of life and property just because they then go around handing out money to rebuild the property? where is your common sense?
5. New capitulation of the Olmert government
Jonathan S ,   Frankfurt, Germany   (08.27.06)
„No cease-fire until the release of the kidnapped soldiers“, these were the words of the PM. Everyone can judge how badly this government failed, Olmert, Peretz and Livni all together. The foreign minister was virtually absent during the war, especially the media war, and is responsible for Israel’s diplomatic disaster allowing Chirac to transform the UN resolution into a nightmare for Israel. Furthermore everyone should ask why Germany has so excellent relations with all Islamo-Fascist groups. They date back to the strong friendship between the Mufti and Hitler, there is a straight line even until today. During the last prisoner exchange in 2000, Israel traded more than 400 terrorists for the bodies of three soldiers murdered by Hezbollah. The head of German intelligence publicly congratulated Hezbollah for their “humanitarian” role.
6. was the war necessary?

So much blood and so much devestation and in the end Israel will give up 10,000 prisoners for 2 soldiers who may have suffered weeks of torture. And for Shalit, how much will Israel have to pay? And he too may have suffered. . " I will never negociate with Hamas or Hezbollah Olmert " has to go.
