31. Mitch is a moron!
Eric ,   London, UK   (08.31.06)
Hey Mitch, why quote the bible in your talkback? Have you read the HIzballah manifesto? Have you heard what the kooky Iranian president said? Go to Tehran and say hello! That is where you belogn when you heap all this criticism on Israel. Typical of the American left! What is your definition of a fair peace? The Israelis left Lebanon and what happened? The Israeli pulled out of Gaza and what did they get for the troubles, a new invention called the Qassam rocket! So in short, until you recognize that Israel is not totally to blame for all the Middle East problems-stuff it!
32. Thanks Bradford!
Eric ,   Londontown   (08.31.06)
Just a quick note to say thanks for educating the David! I do belive that when push comes to shove, we will see the Israeli Air Force over Tehran. The Israelis have everything to lose!
33. Number 28!

What a fantastically, moronic sentiment! Don't think for an instant that Sunni countries would be at all happy with a rabid, undisciplined, proxy-using country like Iran having nuclear weapons. Don't forget, it is the STATED intention of Muslism extremists that if they had a nuclear weapon they would use it! Fianlly, does Iran really need nuclear weapons if they intended to make peace? Why not open the dialogue now? I'll tell you why, tehy want peace under their demands!

Ok so let's agree to put a treaty that would disarm the middle east from nukes. Lets begin with Israel who has more than 250 nuclear heads and nobody is born evil ok Now I am not defending Iran but every country has the right to develop new technologies in order to survive and evolve, when the president of the united states say that Iran is a the axes of evil it is supposed to be the antichrist?, the president who has less the 30% of this people agreement for his action , the president whom when his nation was under fire he was still reading a children book !!! upside down !!yep I should rely on his judgment
35. Don't worry so much Mr. Ben-Meir
the logical nemesis   (08.31.06)
The United States has neither failed at or fallen for anything Mr. Ben-Meir. It seems Israel would have learned by now that all the negotiations in the world will not buy you peace, so there is no sense in negotiating with evil regimes such as what rules Iran presently. But don't be so freightened Mr. Ben-Meir, Iran will never achieve all those "lofty goals" their mad hatters in Tehran dream of.

37. Iran
(09.02.06)
Soon, Iran will ahve the nukes and with a defence pact with Syria, will be deployed on the Israeli border. It is time Israel sat down and entered in serious negotiations with it's neighbours instead of preoccupied with nicking land, bombing defenceless palestinians and Lebanese. With balance of power shifting away from USA, it is in it's interest to do this sooner rather than later. John

Balance of Power with Two Police States? I don't think so. As for Palestinians being defenseless, they have managed to murder and maim upwards of 3,000 Israeli men, women, and children in the last 6 years and refuse to enter into any negotiations which would lead to a Two State solution. I hardly call this defenseless or cooperative, for that matter. Israel and the rest of the world, including the Sunni Arab states, will be better off when that little Islamic Nazi in Teheran is castrated and that little tyrant in Damascus has his air force and tank armada reduced to rubble and bent metal. Also, I would not underestimate American military might. It does not require infantry to reduce Iran's commerical shipping and nuclear Research and Development to a shell of its former self. It is much easier to destroy fixed sites than it is to knock out Hezbollah paramilitary with mobile katusha rocket launchers. A couple of B-52s and and a squadron of stealth bombers is all that is required.
39. Hey #22
Mateos ,   Virginia   (09.18.06)
I like the way you used my post for your personal rant. You sir, however, have missed the point I was trying to make. I do agree with your statement that 'nobody is born evil' if that means that a person by virtue of their geography (say Iran), ethinic group, etc.. is evil. No, that is not the case. People become evil through their choices and actions. Evil men's actions produce wickedness. A nation ruled by an evil man must be dealt with or the wickedness of that ruler will destroy life and welfare of people in that nation and other nations. Nuclear weapons multiply the results beyond that which the rest of the world can withstand. If a known evil can be stopped before nulear weapons are realized, the entire world is spared, even if unknowingly, from certain unreversable dangers. If you disagree, please post a paragraph showing me where I've missed the point, otherwise rant on someone elses post please.
