No prisoner exchange and no active replacment of our forces by Lebanese and UN forces will be possible after blockade lifting of Israeli forces. Syria`s downpour of Iran`s armements will double and triple not only by land but by sea and air too. Think twice. Think twice.

Based on this article, it seems that the Israelis new how to selectively hit the Shiite population in Beirut and south Lebanon. This selective hit brings me to think that the admitted mistake of Hasan Nasrallah has led the Shiite Moslems of Lebanon to a real tragedy. It is clear that the decision of Hizballah not to completely respect UN resolution 1701 might worsen the situation, particularly because most of the Israelis are convinced that another round is “necessary”.

The only correct thing in your article is the description of the banana fields and orchards. Why you didnt take pictures of these destroyed Katyusha launchers. I think you should have let your driver Salem to write the story.

Apology accepted. I totally agree with you that what was done to Arab Jews was a historic mistake and tragedy and is as dispeccable as driving out the Palestinians from their homes and land whcih they existed upon for millenia. Jews, Moslems and Christians of Arab belonging existed together and flourished in friendly living for hundreds of years. It was the hatred created by the expulsion of the Palestinians from their homeland and the humiliation of hundreds of thousands of people which created the animosity towards the Jews in the first place. The difference between the Jewish refugees and the Palestinian ones is that the Arab Jews were mostly encouraged , by Israel to ascertain that it is THE Jewish homeland and by Arab Dictators to plunder their wealth, is that the Jews immediately came to a ready made identity and the Palestinians are still without one. Adam I respect your intellect so please respect mine. Deair Yassin was an unprovoked massacre. Kafr Kassem was another one. Both events, as well as other numerous ones were amply documented in the official annals of Israel. Trying to deny them is almost equal to trying to deny the tragedy of the Jews in the Holocust. I despise what the Nazis did as a human being and as a Muslim. I expect a fellow human being and a Jew, having gone through persecution for 2500 years, to also despise acts of ethnic cleansing and a slow but sustained genocide only on the basis of religious and ethnic belonging. I am sorry you support Netinyahu and the Likud. You seem to be very too intellegent and of great knowledge to do that. The first step towards peace is to reconcile with ones own mistakes. What you did to the Palestinians was a gross mistake. What was done to you, as Jews, was a grotesque mistake. I am with the equal opportunity to be given to ALL refugees AND their off springs to go to their homeland. If they chose not to then they need to be adequately compensated regardless whether they are now Israelis, Palestinians refugees or otherwise. I am with a historic settlement which rights TWO historical mistakes by ascerting the safety and security of Israel on the pre 67 borders and the creation of Palestine on the rest of historical Palestine. And if the settlers can live in peace as Palestinians with equal rights in the west bank as can the Arabs live as Israelis With equal rights in Israel. I am afraid this is far from what the Likud ideaology can accept. To continue ignoring the valid aspirations of teh palestinians and rely on force will not resolve the issue. One day the balance of powers will change. You will not continue to be the greatest power in the region, and you will not saty the only nuclear power here as well.Failing to grab this moment to make amends will only mean that the conflict will continue for generations to come. And one day, no amount of force nor compromise will be enough to prevent the inevitable..Armagedon .. Get out of the Massada mentalty.. It was the root for the notorious martyrdom mentality..before it is too late

Libyan Guy ,   Italy   (09.01.06)
Thanks for your over whelming democratic action in Lebanon that caused only destruction and much more hate towards already hated Jews around the world. When we see all this done just for 2 IDF soldiers then we must imagine what are Jews about and I believe that before talking about freedom and democracy and all human rights stuff that Israel claims to be part of, we must talk about what is the faith of more then 9000 Lebanese prisoners in Israeli jails and what about the use of forbidden wepons in the Lebanon campaigne not to be acused of being Anti-semitic (very anthic stupid button) when we talk about Israel nukes and why it can and other can’t … my fellow JEs you are too smart but you can go like this forever and the more bad stuff you do will come back to you and don’t believe that you are the chosen and promissed one (maybe just to suffer and live in fear). shalom (4500 years of your history should had teached you the real meaning of this word)
