31. STOP BLAMING GOVERNMENT!
Knave Dave   (09.04.06)
It's not that the present government doesn't deserve to fall. Of course it does. It has lost three (yes, three) wars in barely half a decade under both Kadima and Likud Prime Ministers. If a strong-man General like Sharon and his yes-man court jester, Olmert, aren't enough to take Israel to military victory, how will it ever achieve victory? NetanYahoo? YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING. Israel has already tried him! Fine, Go harder to the right, and Israel will run right off the cliff of despair. But the left isn't going to help with what will only look like appeasement NOW that all military options have failed for several years. There is only one who can deliver peace in the Promised Land. That is the Prince of Peace. The Promise of this Land is had by faith alone. Some trust in chariots, but chariots will not deliver the Promise God made to Abraham. Neither will appeasement. So, where will Israel turn? It should be getting clearer every day that the Zionist goal of taking the land by force is bankrupt. It has made enemies around the world. It has lost three wars in twice that many years. It has lost the land of Gaza, where Sharon once reigned as champion of settlements. The Golan Heights is on the horizon and then the West Bank. Neighbors are growing angrier and louder AND MORE POWERFUL year after year. Rockets in the north. Nothing of enduring significance accomplished by ANY military effort anywhere in years under the right. Nothing accomplished toward peace by the left. Where will Israel turn? --David Haggith
