now thats what Is called huzpahy--Unmitigated arrogance. there were no Palestinians then and there are none today. there are a bunch of arab ivaders who came oin the last centuri, you amongst them. This history and geography is a history and geography of the ancient Hebrews who lived in this land since the exodus from Egypt and are here now. Get out of our land if you value your life and that of your near ones.

Read the date. 2100 years ago there was no Palestine altogether,The Romans named the area Palestine after 70 CE. The whole area was inhabited by Israelites, including all of Jordan, parts of Lebanon and parts of Syria. Read your history.

"Do not steal our History" Whose History are you talking about? If you are talking about the History ofIslam it only started in the 7th Century. If you are talking about the Palestinian-Arabs they came to the country around the end of the 19th Century. their country is Arabia. That cave predates Islam and the presence of Arabs in what the Romans called Palestine by many many centuries. You Moslems have the knack of changing History and attributing to yourselves all the outstanding events. Let me add to your glories by mentioning Ibrhim ibn Einstein as one of scientist. If I recall, I read somewhere that he was born in Medina and he studied at the madrasa of SidiMohamed El Kbir. I could add Maimonides if you want to. My suggestion to you is to go to one of the great libraries of Europ and read all the history books you can. That is if you have some time left from the life of hatred in whicn you live. Slaan uaalikum> This I wish on for Peace could make you a better Human Being

Yehudi -- you're a nutbag. Arab invaders? Who was it that fought the Crusaders 800 years ago? Give it a rest, whitey, you're likely a German or Russian who fancies himself a descendant of the ancient Hebrews -- but you're probably not. Israelis like you are worse than Ahmadinejad.
9. Thank You #'s 2,3,4,5

Seems this person, #1, does not understand -- possibly through childhood brainwashing, that "Palestinians" have NO history. Another sad example of God's gift of "free will" being abused by humans and bouyed by Satan.

Your argument is somewhat hollow argument. We all agree that this land has been continuously occupied and inhabited for thousands of years. Their social and religious standard and believes has been evolving and revolving ever since. What was an agnostic or atheist became a Jewish then a Christian then Moslem then a Jewish and so on, but the racial entity stayed the same.

Mr Palestinian ARAB, Salah el Din is a Kurd so please do not steal his conquest 'Saladin' or Salah al-Din (1137 or 1138–1193; Kurdish: Selahedîn Ayûbî; Arabic: صلاح الدين يوسف بن ايوب‎ ; al-Malik al-Nāṣir Ṣalāḥ al-Dīn Yūsuf ibn Ayyūb - Ayyoub; Salah ad-Din being an honorific that means The Righteousness of the Faith in Arabic) was a 12th century Kurdish Muslim warrior from Tikrit, in present day northern Iraq, who founded the Ayyubid dynasty of Egypt, Syria, Yemen, Iraq, Mecca Hejaz and Diyar Bakr. He was also renowned in both the Muslim and Christian worlds for his leadership and military prowess tempered by his chivalry and merciful nature, during his war against the Crusaders.
12. #1 Reminds me of a joke with Arafat and Sharon! SO FUNNY....
Joseph ,   Los Angeles   (09.05.06)
Have you heard the one about Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and Chairman Yasir Arafat finally sitting down to negotiate? Sharon opened with a "biblical" tale. "Before the Israelites came to the Promised Land and settled here, Moses led them for 40 years through the desert. One day, miraculously, a stream appeared. They drank and then decided to bathe. When Moses came out of the water, he found all his clothes missing. " 'Who took my clothes?' Moses asked. 'It was the Palestinians,' replied the Israelites." "Wait a minute," interrupted Arafat. "There were no Palestinians during the time of Moses!" "All right," smirked Sharon, "now that we've got that settled, let's start talking."

Julius ,   Bs Aires- Argentina   (09.05.06)
To # 8: Reed History, not only Quran. Turks (seljuks) and the egyptians forces of Salah e' Din in the last crusades fought the christian troops. The arabs, originated from de Arabic Peninsula invaded Palestine at the end of the VII s. (after Jesus, of course). Arabs are not original inhabitants of The Land of Canan but descendants from the desert badawis. The canaanites from the Holy Land were either exterminated or forced to convert to Moses religion and asimilated to the hebrews in the time of Joshua ben Nun, some 1200 years BCE. Remember that good books don't bite.

Joppa was part of the Kingdom of Solomon, where he received timber from King Hiram of Tyre 3000 years ago to use in the construction of the Temple. Joppa was the port in the Kingdom of Israel from which the Prophet Jonah set out 2800 years ago to avoid travelling to Nineveh in the Assyrian Empire, as HaShem had commanded him. Joppa was used to receive timbers for the repair of the Temple in the time of the Prophet Ezra 2450 years ago. This time it was the assistance of good King Artaxerxes I of Persia enacting the Edict of King Cyrus that enabled the Temple to be repaired. Notice that when the Phoenicians and Persians are assisting the Jews that HaShem blesses them. Observe that today they are full of malice, and both Lebanon and Iran are countries bringing devastation upon themselves. As for Jonah, the Kingdom of Israel, and the Assyrians: they all paid a high price for defying HaShem. Christians know that after the death of Jesus, Simon Peter went to Joppa and stayed with a tanner by the seaside. While he was there he believed that he had a vision which exempted him from the dietary and hygienic laws of the Jews. At this time Joppa was still part of Judea, a Roman province. As for the Philistines, the cities they took from Dan did not include Joppa. According to the Prophet Jeremiah and the Prophet Amos they are the remnant of the country of Caphtor. This is probably Crete, but I don't really care if it is Crete or Atlantis: go home Philistines!
17. Ancient Burial Caves and Palestinians
Rachel ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (09.05.06)
Sorry you guys, you missed the main thrust of this discovery. Jews have been buried for many centuries in proper tombs. Arabs who call themselves "Palestinians" never engaged in such modern and advanced burial techniques or we would have at least ONE "Palestinian" museum filled with artifacts of their ancient presence in Israel. Some of the things that make history and archaeology great is the discovery of such PROOF that we were here before some moron decided his Islamic roots began in Tel Aviv.

19. Have you heard of Midian and the generosity of its people
Joshua ,   USA   (09.05.06)
Historically speaking when one country invades another and occupies it they don’t move their own citizens into the newly occupied country, they simply impose marshal law and force people to pay taxes. Most of the arguments about the true citizens of this land are somewhat hollow argument. Little bit of Bible History for those who are thirsty for the truth: According to the Bible, Midian (Hebrew: מִדְיָן, Standard Midyan Tiberian Miḏyān;) was a son of Abraham and his concubine Keturah (who according to midrash is Hagar). His descendants, the Midianites, settled in the territory east of the Jordan River and also much of the area east of the Dead Sea (later occupied by Ammonites, Moabites and Edomites), and southward through the desert wilderness of the Arabah. During the time of the Exodus, their territory apparently also included portions of the Sinai Peninsula. They dominated this territory from roughly the twelfth through the tenth centuries BCE. In Bible history, Midian was where Moses spent the 40 years between the time that he fled Egypt after killing an Egyptian who had been beating a Hebrew, and his return for leading the Israelites.During those years, he married Zipporah, the daughter of Jethro, the priest of Midian. Today, the former territory of Midian is found through small portions of western Saudi Arabia, southern Jordan, Israel and the Sinai.
20. The Arabs in Palestine --bibliography
Konstantas ,   Kypros (Chypre)   (09.05.06)
According to Israeli scholars, there were Arabs living in Palestine since the 9th century BCE. A message in the old ANE (Ancient Near East) email list, gave some bibliography. This is the message: https://listhost.uchicago.edu/pipermail/ane/2003-January/005774.html http://tinyurl.com/n356m Here's the bibliography: -----/ quote /-- - Israel Eph`al, 1982, The Ancient Arabs. Nomads on the Borders of the Fertile Crescent 9th-5th Centuries B.C. Leiden. E.J. Brill. (the title is misleading, in the book Eph`al shows that the Arabs are attested in all areas of the Fertile Crescent).
- Aryeh Kasher, 1988, Jews, Idumaeans and Ancient Arabs. Relations of the Jews in Eretz-Israel with the Nations of the Frontier and the Desert during the Hellenistic and Roman Era (332BCE -70CE). Tubingen. J.C.B. Mohr. (again, don't let the mention of Frontier and Desert mislead you, Kasher clearly shows the intermingling of the three groups in all of Palestine).
- Avraham Negev, 1986, Obodas the God, Israel Exploration Journal, 36:1-2 56-60. (this interesting inscription -dated 88/9 to 125/6 C.E. by Negev- contains the oldest verses in what will become Classical Arabic).
- J. B. Segal, 1984, Arabs in Syriac Literature before the rise of Islam. Pp.89-123 in Jerusalem studies in Arabic and Islam. 4. Jerusalem. The Magness Press. (Segal covers the whole 'Fertile Crescent,' including Palestine).
- Moshe Sharon, 1988, The Birth of Islam in the Holy Land. Pp. 225-235 in ed. M. Sharon. The Holy Land in History and Thought. Leiden. I.J. Brill. (shows the importance of the role played by the local Syro-Palestinian Arabs in the rise of Islam -7th cent. a.d.).
-----/ end quote /-- -- Return of all the Arabs refugees -- Peace for all our brothers and sisters, Arabs and Jews alike. --

Actually BCE is correct, anthropologically speaking. BC stands for Before Christ and is applicable only for those of the Christian faith.

And you know this..because you are an archeologist ? Or were there right? Palestine is a farce..you have no history, other than the robber barons you were throughout history, and the murderers you have become now. Soon the world will once again wake up tothe threat of islam, and finish this fight once and for all.
