Defense Minister Peretz performed badly during the recent conflict. But Defense Minister Mofaz along with Prime Minister Sharon did NOTHING in the past years while the Hezbollah built up its arsenal of terror in southern Lebanon. The government could have smashed Hezbollah when it was weaker during the time when Sharon was in office.

I am writing this just cause for the frst time someone appreciates to listening to the truth and what the other side has to say. I wish that what ur saying was correct that the majority of israelis have a different view point from those at top... in one way i think ur right... the view point of the majority was not to halt the war and to carry on until whole of south lebanon villages, towns and cities are destroyed on our side and the rest of the settlements of the north whit several more hundred soldiers dead or injured from your side. Maybe ur only a voice in the wilderness but sometimes voices give an echo that will grow until more peopel wake up!
