Went there when i was around 16-17 to pick grapefruit trees in the arly hours of the morning, what an exprerience..It was amazing to see how free everyone was..it was a beautiful place and the people there were also fantastic.. Altho it was a long time ago..i still remember the place with great fondness..

we enjoyed the original swimming pool. brave american brother jerry fought (1973) for his home and family in ginnegar. visits are painful. i also scaled the ladders at the grapefruit trees.

I was a member of Plugat Aliyah garin in Kvutsat Ginegar in 1947-49, a great ex-perience. We merged with a garin of Macabbi Hatsair and founded Hasollelim. There could not have been a better introduction than to work with and know the chaverim, many of whom were vatikim.
