Our supposed friends know this but because they take their partisanship more seriously to the point of seeing Israel screwed they say nothing. When George Bush took the hand of France (of all countries) and went to the United Nations (of all places) and co-authored a cease fire to stop Israel from finishing the Hezbollah problem, this spoke volumes of how he regards the security of Israel.
