I hope the people of Israel recognize that the United States long-term commitment to Israel's security is directly related to the fact that the vast majority of people in the U.S. consider themselves Christians.

a child eargerly waiting for the nightly news to end on sundays so we could watch disney world on what was then a new technology called televison, the mideast crisis was always the top story. the news was never over until the rock throwing nutcases were shown. now almost fifty years later, the mid east "crisis" is still the daily event on the news, just as sure as the sun comes up in the morning, there is a crisis in the mid east. the british should have minded their own business in 1948 and let nature take its course. the so called crisis would have ended then and there. instead of forcing the rightful land owners into refuse camps so the "chosen ones" could have their "promised land", the opposite should have occured. now, the us government's continual military and financial support,(more than two billion a year of taxpayers money)that by the way has never been voted on by the american public, this "crisis", that never should have been, has now festered into the terror war we see today. I personaly, would rather see a giant smoking crater, than this so called "holy land" that's about as holy as the plot of land left over after a two hole outhouse has been moved
