Fadi, of course this homosexual parade is a disgrace, and these beasts are planning to carry out this filthy deed in the holiest spot on earth according to Jews - Jerusalem. An outpouring of Orthodox Jewish pressure stopped this parade from having materialized last month. Of course, the Orthodox Jews are against this outrageous insult to the holiness of Jerusalem. Still, we value human life and try to prevent such travesties in legal, non-violent ways. Do you expect us to violate our principles and peaceful nature of Judaism and start threatening or killing people?

We Jews don't want this in Jerusalem. Jerusalem is a holy city. Not only to Jews, but also to Muslims. The Badatz of the Edah HaChareidis (the highest rabbinical court of Jerusalem) ruled that we must fight a 'MILCHEMES KOIDESH BEMESIRUS NEFESH'. This translated as a 'HOLY WAR WITH SACRIFICE OF THE SOUL'. It seems like every time they arrange for a gay parade in Jerusalem, some other catostrophic event happens preventing the parade. If Olmert really seeks peace he should step in to stop this. Jerusalem is a city embodying the word holy. With all due respect to the privacy of homosexuals and anyone else, this parade should not be held in Jerusalem. It would be like holding a Christmas parade in Mecca or a Hapoel Tel Aviv victory parade in Teddy stadium (a Rangers Stanley Cup parade on Long Island.) The point is, there is a place for these things and a place where these things do not belong.

Although Jerusalem is definetly the holiest city in all of Israel, it is also where the Knesset or a secular government sits. Therefore it is expected that there will be secular protest and parades. As long as the pride parade stays far from the Old City, may it be. They will be judged in G-ds timing, not ours.
