You are so correct but for one thing. The charter of Hamas and compay says they are in busines to destroy Israel. As far as they are concerned, helping themselves is out of the question. Look at what happened in Gaza after it was (wronfully) ceded to the terrorists because they promised peace if they were given Gaza: they were left a profitable agricultural business that could have formed the basis for the start of a peacful economy. What did they terrorists do? They destroyed all the greenhouses because they were built by Jews, then cried poverty that they were left worthless land. They then began using Gaza to launch more raids into Israel and a launching base for Qassam rockets. Time and again it has been demonstrated by the terrorists themselves they do not want peace with Israel or a piece of Israel. They want the whole country and they want there to be no Jews.
