What an excellant idea, good luck to them. That is what I call brilliant marketing.

For you , to change a bulb is probably also a very difficult task . Their kitchen was allways Kosher , but without a rabbinical certificate . At Brussels airport there is also a synagogue .

The most vitriolic comments come from outside of Israel. Secondly, within Israel, there is a small group of people that feel uncomfortable around religious Jews. Consequently, anthing done to cater to the religious makes them see red. These people feel that a business should voluntarily cut its market share, rather than make religious Jews feel welcome. I am also certain that if the store had a mosque instead, everyone whould be writing about how wonderful IKEA is, catering to the sensibilities of their muslim customers.

This is so sad. Ikea Israel is the only Ikea warehouse that I know of where people have to pray prior to screwing together the furniture. I didn't know it was that difficult.
