I am just curious with the tight sealed security at Ben-Gurion Airport, how she managed to get her bag been screened as 'clean'. I have travelled to Israel before and I admired the stringency of their security check which was much better than my country.

This is the really disturbing question: How could she bring in an ammo clip into Ben Gurion Airport and through the security check at the Airport and inside an El Al plane. This is the real nightmare!! An the Indians found it right away. And also another question: Just some time ago, an Israeli tour guide was taken into custody because ammo found in his back. In the beginning the media also said that this woman was a tour guide. So maybe tour guides for Israeli groups are taking security prevention in their own hands?

If she was a muslim with ammunition on an aeroplane - it's almost a certainty that she would try to blow up the plane....Since when does a muslim girl carry ammunition - they don't serve in the army...?!?!? Also, since when has a Jewish girl ever tried to blow herself up?!? That's the reality!!!

what you fail to realise is that i can't think of the last time a Jew planned an atttack or a hijacking in the name of Judaism. Can you? I can't remember if a Jew has ever hijacked a plane. Muslims on the other hand .....

I also wonder how she got through Israeli security, as they do ask if you are carrying a weapon, which even bullets are. And today, when you can't even take a lipstick or your meds throught some airports. Guess some heads will roll this end, but bravo India, on the ball. And in answer to Noora, she is probably right., because moslems are more of a potential highjacker than an Israeli. Sorry Noora, but the fanatics in Islam have made it bad for you all.

What you seem to have missed is that Noa DID NOT KNOW the bullets were in her bag. She borrowed a backpack from her brother, he said "go ahead," she packed and left. Turns out that when her brother returned from army reserve duty just a few days before Noa departed, he mistakenly left some bullets deep in a pocket when he unpacked the bag. Israeli airport officials do not look for dangerous weapons, they look for dangerous PEOPLE. What matters is not what is in the bag, but the intention of the person who packed it and is carrying it. When they asked Noa if she had a weapon, she honestly had no idea about the bullets, and the personnel correctly summed her up as a harmless person. That's why Israeli security WORKS: they don't look for hairgel or suspicious applesauce, they look for murderers.

I don't think we are gettign the whole story. How come El Al did not comment on how a wiman with a loaded case was able to board and fly on their plane. Besides why would she be taking a loaded magazine to india if she is only there as a tourist? A lot od questions that need answers?????

It was her brothers bag who used it to do reserve army..... it is really a stupid incident, don't you check your bag before packing? btw Israeli security are very easy with Israelis but very strict security procedures for anyone who doesn't have an Israeli passport....

The most secure airline in the world let bullets slip on board. Something is very wrong at El Al security.

Are you saying all foreigners in Israel counted as a potential murderer? From my own experiences,and the experiences I read on YNET,I can say easily it seems all non-Israelies are facing with the hours of security check. And you say here,Israeli a/port officials don't look for weapons but dangerous people &murderers. How impressive... That's great way of welcoming visitors and quiet unusual type of tourism for a state who calls people from all over the world to visit Israel. You may design some "how to declare visitors unwanted" type of advertisement leaflets to present your minister of tourism.If you are right I am sure they will find your bright ideas interesting. By the way,thanks for accusing me and other visitors as a dangerous type of people as well as murderers.(indirectly) Good to know all Israelies are not like you.Or are they?

She was supposed to get on the plane with ammo and that is what she did. What do you expect? Mossad agents to go around without guns. Look at the excuse, oh it was my brother's? Right!
