If we take an honest look at history, only in the 20th/21st century have we as Jews experienced any sort of "oppression" from Arabs or Muslims. the verses you have come up with are parts of the Qura'n yes, but reading the Qura'n in bits and pieces is not a way to understand it.. you are doing exactly what the terrorists you complain about do.. first of all.. reading translations of the Qura'n is not a very good idea... because the Qura'n's miracle is in it's language and you have to be very good in Arabic in order to fully understand the Qura'n .. second.. the Qura'n should not be read in pices and bits or you will turn out twisting everything around... third.. the Qura'n had allowed Muslims to fight but had put conditions to this fighting.. and this is not because of a gap in the Qura'n but because Islam is a very realistic religion.. people from all religions have been into wars and fought without their books telling them anything.. the Qura'n had not left Muslims to do what their evil human nature would push them to do.. it had put them rules for it.. as for the verses you have mentioned I will show you in my next post how you have chosen parts and I will give you the verses before and after the ones you mentioned which prove that Muslims could fight deffensive wars but not attack or deciet.. I am not an Islamic scholar.. I am a Muslim whoreads the Qura'n the way it should be read .. I have no political fantasies which I want to achieve.. we do believe that there had been changes in the Bible but those changes have been made a long time ago and this was the reason why God had made Muslims from the first revelation memorise the Qura'n.. Muslims believe in Jesus and Moses and respect them..
