Ever hear of Amal? They are the original Shiite militia in Lebanon. Hizbollah was established because they felt Amal didn't hate everybody who wasn't like them enough. Israel is only one of those they hate - add to that what was then majority Christian population of Lebanon. Shiites created Hizbollah to advance their ideologies, not Israel.
