2. crazy people, fight for nothing
Ahmed ,   Gaza   (10.01.06)
What happens in Gaza now reflects the crisis between Iran and the west. The people supported from Iran (Hammas) are fighting the people supported from the US and the Europians (Fateh). At the end, who is the looser? of course THE PALESTINIAN PEOPLE Mr. Khaled Mishal is paying now 6000$ US dollars for each family in Lebanon has a member killed by the Israeli agression. At the same time, the people here in Gaza are starved.

10. About Time Pals Figured Out Who to Hate
Jewish American ,   USA   (10.01.06)
It is about time that the Palestineans realize who is to blame for thier situation. And that is thier government who embezzels billions in aid every year from them. Just look at Arafat. Though, Ahmed does make a good observation that it is most likely Iran backing Hamas to fight yet another proxy war against the West. But hopefully this will open the eyes of the Palestineans to no longer blame Israel for EVERY problem they have, and realize that they need to begin to help themselves before the West can truley begin to help the Palestineans. I just hope the Palestineans realize this soon because a civil war in Gaza will only make it harder on Israel and the West for a real peace in the Mid East.
11. I feel so bad, and shame.
atmawi ,   Historic Palestine   (10.01.06)
USA, Israel, Fatah, Egypt, and Jordan won the battle. we are hopeless people. No Justice= Disaster. Watch and see. It is Israel to be blame for starving the people of palestine. Israel steels around 50 million of dollars every month from Palestinian money (Taxes). The fifty million, plus the natural revenues (30 million), in addition to very little donated by palestinians are more than enough to pay salaries. It Israel and USA who block the palestinians from their money. Ofcourse they will fight each othert, Israel know that, US knows that... but keep watching. Tell you what, do not be so happy, things will never be to your advantage, not on this part of the world. Hamas Shows little interest in understanding thereal disaster Palistinians are going through, they like the chair, Abbas wait to the moment where he can get rid of Hamas, as well as Egypt and Jordan.

13. Palestinians
martin gold ,   w.boca, Fl.   (10.01.06)
from Ronald Reagan's book, In His Own Hand pg. 217 & 218: " There is no common heretage as a people other than Arab relationship and they were not at any past time a nation. Therefore one has to wonder if nationalism is a strong force among them & how many would wonder if nationalism is a strong force among them & how many would choose to live in a new Palestine state."

16. That is Exactly Arafat's Legacy!!!
stude ham ,   outremont, canada   (10.01.06)
They were never a nation nor even a people of common heritage. They were a fiction created by an arab/islamic fiction bent on the eradication of the jewish people in the world. They are now the victims of their own venom. That is the wage of pure hatred and exactly what Arafat (yamach shemoy) and his poisonous snakes gave them as their legacy.

21. 5. Anna: Religion of piece
KUTW   (10.01.06)
I am a Christian and don’t believe they should apologize to the Pope for killing one another among themselves. If that is how they want to live , it is alright for me. They should apologize for attacking and murdering other people, and destroying their property.

The same thing happenned- as the people were penned in, policed and oppressed- i dont condone violoence,, though the conditions the israelis forced the Palestinians into makes stress, strife depression and lack of inspiration rampant-- living in a a gulag that the jews imposed on these armeless people.

Knave Dave ,   U.S.A.   (10.01.06)
"USA, Israel, Fatah, Egypt, and Jordan won the battle." And what have they had to do to get this "victory," if, indeed, they've won. Nothing but withhold their financial support, with the exception of Israel. "we are hopeless people." So, it would appear. Thanks to the U.S., you were handed a democratic government. It would never have happened without continual U.S. pressure in that direction. You could have chosen a government based on hope. You intentionally chose one based on terror, rage, and violence. So, why are you surprised when that violence turns back on yourselves. Evil contains the seeds of its own destruction. If you want hope, make wiser choices about whom will govern you. "No Justice= Disaster. Watch and see." We are watching, and we are seeing, and you are completely right. "It is Israel to be blame for starving the people of palestine. Israel steels around 50 million of dollars every month from Palestinian money (Taxes). The fifty million, plus the natural revenues (30 million), in addition to very little donated by palestinians are more than enough to pay salaries." It is my understanding that you are correct in that much. Israel should stop collecting taxes on behalf of the Palestinian government, and it should hand over all taxes it has collected in Gaza to the PA in Gaza. Taxes it collects inside the state of Israel, however, are another matter. If you don't want to pay those taxes, don't work there. "It [is] Israel and USA who block the palestinians from their money." The U.S.A. does not block Palestinians from their money. It blocks money from flowing into organizations that support terror; but it's not Palestinian money. It's money from outside Palestine. The U.S. has also stopped its own financial contributions to Palestine. Why shouldn't it. You act as if you have some right to U.S. money. You have no such right. No one owes you their money, and, so long, as you choose governments that are run by terrorists, you won't find much money flowing in from around the world. "Of course they will fight each other, Israel know that, US knows that... but keep watching." We are. And we know they will fight each other because they are terrorists, whose hearts are filled with rage. There is no honor among thieves. If you want governments that don't rip themselves to shreds, choose leaders who have peace in their hearts, rational minds, and openness to dialog. "Tell you what, do not be so happy, things will never be to your advantage, not on this part of the world." It seems to me that they are not to your advantage either. Who is the winner? "Hamas shows little interest in understanding the real disaster Palistinians are going through." You chose them. "They like the chair, Abbas wait to the moment where he can get rid of Hamas, as well as Egypt and Jordan." I presume you meant to say that both sides want to get rid of each other. And who elected them? Isn't Hamas supposed to be a Muslim organization? Where is the love and peace?
