To be honest, what could happen?
1. Hamas wins. Then they will use these arms to kill us better.
2. Fatah wins. Then they will use the arms to kill us better.
3. Nobody wins. They will both use the weaponds to kill each other and us better.
NO THANK YOU! Let them fight and then see what to do with the winner. And all the time attacking ANYBODY that endangers us!

Do you give them weapons so they can shoot each other, or is it a ploy to get stock and supplied to attack Israel, i'm guessing a lot of these weapons will be used to attack Israelis, but thats typical of the US, sitting the fence, promoting peace then selling both sides weapons, they do anything to make a buck, they prefer corporatization / business over peaceful democracy.

The last thing that Abbas should be concerned about is to flood his people with weapons. There is too much arms in the hands of Islamist-Jihadist terrorists in the region. Abbas needs to learn to be a nation builder--educating and providing jobs for his people, living in peace with their neighbors, eliminating the Preachers-of-Hate Training Schools in his society and replacing them with real schools where children can learn to become productive members of society and nation builders.

Is this country about to lose its mind? The Palis seem to have enough weapons to kill each other. Let's don't send them fodder to kill Jews. Israel is, after all, our ally.
Beware of Greeks bearing gifts and terrorists being "nice."

10. Freedom of religion and right to bear arms
B"H
What distinguishes Israel from the United States? The right of Jews to bear arms to defend themselves collectively, which is imposed by Israel against the will of other countries.
Clearly if this is to "protect Abbas" by shooting Jews, the outcome is not also to "protect Jewish citizens" of Israel.
Is this a true democracy, if one religion is given arms to attack another one? Abas is given arms to murder Jews. That is is primary use of those arms.
How can we have freedom of religion inside the United States if there is not true freedom of religion outside of the United States? Is this not a sort of intimidation technique, to arm murderers?
Then one of the like minded folks shows up in Seattle to intimidate locally. And for reason after both mosques and synnagogues receive additional protection.
It cannot be that all Arabs are like this. But this technique of putting weapons in the hand of murderers is sure fomenting dispute; perhaps divide and conquer does actually have something to it that keeps Arabs and Jews from formulating a lasting peace in this region.

I think a military dictatorship is a very dangerous form of government generally speaking.
In a democracy, there is some degree of transparency, at least. That sort of move would be very bad for Israel as far as I could tell, because militaries are very much more easy to manipulate than civilian governments.
Why make matters worse than they need to be?

Once again, the "palestinians" prove that they care more about obtaining weapons, than providing food for their starving families. What a waste.

The USA and Israel will be delighted to provide you with all the weapons you want, Mr. Abbas. Puppets like you are just what Israel needs to weaken you and your people and to step all over you...
Mr. Abbas would rather kill his own people than to accept that Hamas won the elections in a democratic way. Shame on my government and shame on Israel for starving the palestinian people and its government, just because they don't want to submit to their dirty games and phoney democracy!

The government should sell his apartments, pen collection and all his ill gotten wealth and give the proceeds to the families of the soldiers who gave their lives for his "cease fire" surrender.
Then make him live in a bombed out buiding in the North with a live streaming video camera for all to see. Kinda like Big Brother meets Survivor.

Council on American-Islamic Relations: "Islam isn't in America to be equal to any other faiths, but to become dominant. The Koran, the Muslim book of scripture, should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth." - Omar Ahmad (CAIR co-founder).
Addressing a youth session at the 1999 Islamic Association for Palestine's annual convention in Chicago, CAIR founder Omar Ahmad praised suicide bombers who "kill themselves for Islam,"

Guarding and preserving our freedom, and saving American lives is NOT on the U.S. agenda. As U.S. leaders egregiously refuse to guard the freedom and safety of Americans, the U.S. will certainly NOT protect Israelis.
We are witnessing the death of Western civilization.

Controversial Muslim group
gets VIP airport security tour
Feds show CAIR latest screening steps,
sensitive counterterrorism procedures
The Department of Homeland Security took a Muslim group with known past ties to terror organizations on a VIP tour of security operations at the nation's busiest airport at the same time British authorities were working to break up a plot to blow up U.S. airlines.
On June 21, a senior DHS official from Washington personally guided Muslim officials from the Council on American-Islamic Relations on a behind-the-scenes tour of Customs screening operations at O'Hare International Airport in response to CAIR complaints that Muslim travelers were being unfairly delayed as they entered the U.S. from abroad.
CAIR is a spin-off of the Islamic Association for Palestine, identified by two former FBI counterterrorism chiefs as a "front group" for the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas. Several CAIR leaders have been convicted on terror-related charges.
...U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agents were asked to describe for CAIR representatives various features of the high-risk passenger lookout system.
In a meeting, Brian Humphrey, Customs and Border Patrol's executive director of field operations, assured CAIR officials that agents do not single out Muslim passengers for special screening and that they must undergo a mandatory course in Muslim sensitivity training.
The course teaches agents that Muslims believe jihad is an "internal struggle against sin" and not holy warfare.
Customs agents involved in the CAIR tour at O'Hare tell
WorldNetDaily they were outraged that headquarters would reveal sensitive counterterrorism procedures to an organization that has seen several of its own officials convicted of terror-related charges since 9-11.
"Isn't that nice of CBP," one agent said, to provide a "group like CAIR with a guided, behind-the-scenes tour of our customs facilities, explaining how programs designed to catch Muslim terrorists work."
A Customs and Border Protection supervisor...
"It's all about how Islam means peace and tolerance," he told WorldNetDaily. "We're told how to deal with Arabs and Muslims, that they are loving people and not terrorists. That jihad is struggle with sin and has nothing to do with violence."
CAIR – which is bankrolled by the Saudis and the United Arab Emirates, two countries that formally recognized the Taliban – also offers religious and cultural sensitivity training about Islam and Muslims to the military...
Also in June, CAIR was invited by the Pentagon to a ceremony dedicating the first Islamic center in Marine Corps history at Quantico headquarters outside of Washington.
Washington-based CAIR also has regular meetings with the FBI and Justice Department. In fact, FBI case agents complain the bureau rarely can make a move in the Muslim community without first consulting with CAIR, which sits on its advisory board...

18. LOSING Our FREEDOM. INDOCTRINATING U.S. Children into ISLAM

U.S. public schools infamous for their hostility to Christianity and Judaism are indoctrinating America's children into Islam.
Breaking G-D's commandment: "You shall have no other gods before Me", America's children are being taught to follow a god we and our ancestors never knew.
As American soldiers fight and die in Iraq - to spread democracy??? - we have lost our freedom in America.

JUDICIAL JIHAD
Judge rules Islamic education OK in California classrooms
Dismisses suit opposing requirement students recite Quran, pray to Allah
Requiring seventh-grade students to pretend
they're Muslims,
wear
Islamic garb, memorize verses from the Quran,
pray to Allah and even to play "jihad games" in
California public schools has been legally upheld by a
federal judge, who has dismissed a highly publicized
lawsuit brought by several Christian students and
their parents...
...the suit was filed by the Thomas More
Law Center against the Byron Union School District and
various school officials to stop the use of the "Islam
simulation" materials and methods used in the
Excelsior Elementary School in Byron, Calif.
The World History and Geography class in question is
part of a curriculum being taught to seventh-graders
all over the state, and is included in the state's
curriculum standards required by the state board of
education. Although the standards outline what
subjects should be taught and will be included in
state assessment tests, they don't mandate how they're
to be taught.
In
the three-week course,
Excelsior teacher Brooke
Carlin had students assume Islamic names, recite
prayers in class, memorize and recite verses from the
Quran, and had them simulate Ramadan fasting by going
without something for a day. The final test required
students to critique Muslim culture.
The Islam simulations at Excelsior are outlined in the
state-adopted textbook "Across the Centuries,"
published by Houghton Mifflin, which prompts students
to imagine they are Islamic soldiers and Muslims on a
Mecca pilgrimage. The lawsuit also alleges students
were encouraged to use such phrases in their speech as
"Allah Akbar," which is Arabic for "God is great," and
were required to fast during lunch period to simulate
fasting during the Islamic holy month of Ramadan.
"While public schools prohibit Christian students from
reading the Bible, praying, displaying the Ten
Commandments, and even mentioning the word
'God,'
students in
California are being indoctrinated into
the religion of Islam..."

Shurat HaDin Protests Condoleezza Rice's Planned Meeting With
High-Ranking
Terror Leader
Israeli rights group alleges American Secretary of State scheduled to
meet
Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigade chief responsible
for terrorist attacks in which American nationals were killed
Shurat HaDin - Israel Law Center organization has requested today that
Mr.
Ilan Franko, the Commander-in-Chief of the Israel police in Jerusalem,
arrest a Palestinian terrorist who initiated, guided and funded
terrorist
attacks in Israel, at a meeting he is scheduled to attend in Israel.
In the Jewish rights group's letter to Franko, it is alleged that
Hussein
a-Sheikh, the leader of the Fatah terrorist organization (including the
infamous Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades branch), is responsible for several
attacks carried out by the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades, in which Israelis
as
well as American were killed.
Secretary of State Rice is expected to arrive in Israel on Wednesday as
part
of her current tour of Middle Eastern states. A-Sheikh is scheduled to
meet
with Rice tomorrow, in Jerusalem.
In the letter, sent by attorney Nitsana Darshan-Leitner, the Director
of
Shurat HaDin, it is alleged that a-Sheikh is responsible for a March
2002
terrorist attack on King George St. in Jerusalem, in the course of
which 3
people were murdered and more than 82 others were wounded...
"Instead of meeting with a-Sheikh in the American consulate", stated
attorney Darshan-Leitner, "Condoleezza Rice should be making
arrangements to
indict a-Sheikh for the murder of innocent American civilians. The
State
Department's tireless efforts to find "moderate" Palestinians for a
dialogue, leads its officials to shake the bloody hands of ruthless
terrorists, involved in attacks against Americans".

They hasn't been reports of starving. Relief workers have warned of 'potential' for a problem but not actual at this time.
Officially, food is being let through. Also the phili route's been wide open so food could have gotten through if needed. And there is money & goods there -- but only for hamas members.
Just clarifying... Not disagreeing with your comment on Mr. Abbas's view of elections - just glad he's holding up Hamas from their aim of destruction!

Good point. Would be good to work on Fatah stuff.
Hum, it would be a perfect chance for Abbas to try out peaceful resistence. Wonder though if Hamas would shot at unarmed Arabs standing together? Be interesting to see Fatah try to tame Hamas though instead of just going for civil war! The rest of the world hasn't been able to do it, but maybe they can?
