31. Unfaithful shepherds and false prophets
Marcel Abel ,   (France)   (10.09.06)
"Woe to the shepherds who are destroying and scattering the sheep of my pasture!" declares the LORD. Therefore this is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says to the shepherds who tend my people: "Because you have scattered my flock and driven them away and have not bestowed care on them, I will bestow punishment on you for the evil you have done," declares the LORD. "I myself will gather the remnant of my flock out of all the countries where I have driven them and will bring them back to their pasture, where they will be fruitful and increase in number. I will place shepherds over them who will tend them, and they will no longer be afraid or terrified, nor will any be missing," declares the LORD. "The days are coming," declares the LORD, "when I will raise up to David a righteous Branch, a King who will reign wisely and do what is just and right in the land. In his days Judah will be saved and Israel will live in safety. This is the name by which he will be called: The LORD Our Righteousness. "So then, the days are coming," declares the LORD, "when people will no longer say, 'As surely as the LORD lives, who brought the Israelites up out of Egypt,' but they will say, 'As surely as the LORD lives, who brought the descendants of Israel up out of the land of the north and out of all the countries where he had banished them.' Then they will LIVE in their OWN land." (Jeremiah 23, 1-8)
32. CHRISTIANITY
Ephraim ,   Tel Aviv   (10.10.06)
Christianity is not just RELATED to the massacres of Jews by the Crusaders, to the destruction of Spain's Jewish community, to the Inquisition, to the accusations of ritual murder, to the pogrom, and to the Shoah. Christianity IS EQUAL to all the murders and humiliations that our People has suffered in Europe during the last 16 centuries. Christianity is our most implacable enemy. When we shall have succeeded in making peace with all the Muslims of the world, the Christians will still consider us as a thorn in their eyes, and will try to dstroy us by all means at their disposal. To those who are not convinced: just read the messages posted here by Christians.

Shalom Ephraim, Just as one of the tribes of Israel. You do not understand what true Christianity is, nor do you understand the true and unconditional love of Adonai, HaShem, for if you did you would understand, comprehend and agree with your own Tanach, with the words of Moshe in the Torah. (Deuteronomy 18:15) The Crusades were run by the Roman Catholic Church, the men who joined these ungodly campaigns, were convicted criminals to petty thieves, who were promised an amnesty if they were to "purge the Holy Land of Jews and Muslims". These men were not committed believers in Yeshua HaMashiach, as in the First Century, these men were individuals with a lust for fame, money and blood. Where my dear Jewish people falter is through unbelief, and centuries of untruths told them by the rabbis, who have replaced the Pharisees of the pre Second Temple destruction. One does not have to look at the Brit Hadeshah to say that Christianity is "the implacable enemy", for that "Christianity" that you refer to, dear Ephraim was ordered by the Pope of the time, from the Roman Catholic Church. The Roman Catholic doctrine is not Christian, it is Roman Catholic. I would encourage you dear Ephraim to read about the history of the Emperor Constantine, who was the founder of the Roman Catholic Church. How the Roman Catholic Church teaches and believes is not what true Christianity teaches, for if you would study the Person of Yeshua you would soon discover that He is nothing like your understanding of "the implacable enemy". The word Christ is the Anglicized word - or derived from the Latin word' Christos" or "Christ" this meaning "The Anointed One". The Hebrew word for "Christ" is "Mashiach" or in English,"Messiah". If you would rather make peace with Islam, then, just like the singer Cat Stevens -who denied his Jewish heritage and converted to Islam - you too may come to that point where you discover that you have betrayed your own. Your understanding and concept of Christianity is not only sullied by your own heart felt religiosity and self righteousness, but you are sorely deceived if you think for one moment that Islam will make peace with Israel, or for that matter any other nation who will not "submit" to the teachings of the Koran. I do, however understand how you see things as once I was just like you and brought up to hate with a great hatred, "those goys". Every man must search for God of Israel on his own, and all it takes is a simple prayer so that the One true God, the King of Israel may be revealed to you in all Righteousness and Truth that you may know Him, to whom Abraham was called the friend of God and Moshe only saw the Lord's back parts, for no one can look upon the Glory of God and live. I write this in love to you Ephraim, I pray for you that you shall surely know the Truth and the Truth shall set you free. So, in future Ephraim, when you use the term "Christianity" in reference to the pogroms and the Spanish Inquisition, please replace this word with the words , "Roman Catholic Church" and do a little more research before you sully the Name of my Lord and God, the Holy One of Israel, the Messiah of Israel, HaMashiach Yeshua, Adonai. He is One God, who is, who was, and who is to come. Amen! Shanatova
34. Only One Sin
Carol ,   Ontario   (10.12.06)
The G-d of Israel LIVES. The G-d of Israel knows each person because He created You and He knows you inside out. He knows you better than you know yourself. He knows the number of hairs that are on your head. Do you? The G-d of Israel talks. DO YOU HAVE EARS TO LISTEN? All you have to do is ASK the G-d of Israel if Yeshua HaMashiach is His Son the Messiah! The G-d of Israel will answer You. The G-d of Israel is NOT A MAN THAT HE SHOULD LIE!!! Then you will know for yourself right from the very LIPS of the G-d of Israel. Then ask the G-d of Israel another question. Did Messiah HaMashiach come to earth 2000 years ago? The G-d of Israel will answer you again. The G-d of Israel is not a man that He should lie! Be real - in this world if you want to know something you ask. So ASK the G-D OF ISRAEL - HE WILL ANSWER. Then you will know for yourself and no human person has to convince you.
35. Ephraim, (32) listen to God
Marcel Abel ,   (France)   (10.13.06)
not to your hate of Gentiles ! You foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? Before your very eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed as crucified. I would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit by observing the law, or by believing what you heard? Are you so foolish? After beginning with the Spirit, are you now trying to attain your goal by human effort? Have you suffered so much for nothing--if it really was for nothing? Does God give you his Spirit and work miracles among you because you observe the law, or because you believe what you heard? Consider Abraham: "He believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness." Understand, then, that those who believe are children of Abraham. The Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham: "All nations will be blessed through you." So those who have faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith. All who rely on observing the law are under a curse, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law." Clearly no one is justified before God by the law, because, "The righteous will live by faith." The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, "The man who does these things will live by them." Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree." He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit. Brothers, let me take an example from everyday life. Just as no one can set aside or add to a human covenant that has been duly established, so it is in this case. The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. The Scripture does not say "and to seeds," meaning many people, but "and to your seed," meaning one person, who is Christ. What I mean is this: The law, introduced 430 years later, does not set aside the covenant previously established by God and thus do away with the promise. For if the inheritance depends on the law, then it no longer depends on a promise; but God in his grace gave it to Abraham through a promise. What, then, was the purpose of the law? It was added because of transgressions until the Seed to whom the promise referred had come. The law was put into effect through angels by a mediator. A mediator, however, does not represent just one party; but God is one. Is the law, therefore, opposed to the promises of God? Absolutely not! For if a law had been given that could impart life, then righteousness would certainly have come by the law. But the Scripture declares that the whole world is a prisoner of sin, so that what was promised, being given through faith in Jesus Christ, might be given to those who believe. Before this faith came, we were held prisoners by the law, locked up until faith should be revealed. So the law was put in charge to lead us to Christ that we might be justified by faith. Now that faith has come, we are no longer under the supervision of the law. You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. (Galatians 3, 1-29)

anniulkah ,   kefar yona, israel   (10.16.06)
to follow up on # 32 and 33 ( first i have to say, great historical explanation) .... NOW, There is no way to justify the many atrocities that Many many many IGNORANT people have committed against the Jews throughout the past 2000+ years, all in the name of " CHRIST " HOWEVER.... i want to point out again- these acts were committed one person mention by ignorant people who did not know this Jesus and were led by the Roman Catholic church and its pope to do these things... they were mere polititians but all christians got blamed for it. As a christian, if i love Israel, studied jewish history, live in israel, Love the JEws and Pray for the peace of Jerusalem ...it is all because the same God of the Jews is my God, the Jesus who I believe to be the Messiah was born and raised a Jew.... he NEVER ask for his followers to avenge his death but said that he himself was laying down his life and noone was taking it .... he also said that he did not come to get rid of the Law but to fulfill the Law..... the bible never called us ( christians) to blame the jews but to bless them and pray for the peace of jerusalem ...or did God not say to Abraham " he who blesses you I will bless and he who curses you I will curse" ... a true christian loves the people of Israel and recognizes that not only does God have an eternal love for these his people, but his covenant with Israel will NEVER be broken ... a true christian Loves the Jews.
