Patents are bane of modern technology developmnet. They stifle application of reseach to practice, create monoply and unfair distribution of profit. Patents developed on the base of previous open reseach, but adding some, oten isignificant, feature patent applicant declare results of other people research to be their exlusive property. Patents are robbery of public knowledge.

I really wish if we can do the same at Palestinian schools over here. Unfortunately many of the educated Palestinians are forced to carry on with such professions abroad. We need, the money, collaboration with American and European schools, and also more trained scientists.

I look forward to the day when Israeli and Palestinian schools of higher education together collaborate on research. Together maybe one day through such initiatives we can set an example of peace and prosperity. Way to go Israel :)

Why wouldn't Hebrew University outstrip Yale and Oxford in registering patents. Yale and Oxford primary focus is on indoctrinating students with communist ideology while Hebrew University focuses on actual academics. Go figure.

#6.....you can't imagine how much your needs would have been met by both israel and the world at large if your people didn't harbor terrorists and death to israel and europe factions in your society and government. i really really believe that it's not israel or the european that want to hold you back and in the dark ages. but, it is the leaders you vote for and choose to rtepresent you that are doing this to you for their own economic and political reasons. any society that is bent on hate and crimes and wishes to wipe another country's existance off the face of the map, cannot have the time to spend time on progress and development. i am convinced that there are those amongst the palestinians that are enlightened and scholarly and that would love to coexist in peace and cooperate with israel on all bases. but it's your leaders and multiple terrorist factions in your land that stop this progress and achievement from being reached. if the palestinian population and schools actually concentrated on teaching real subjects and not political hate in their curriculum, think how much the palestinian people could have contributed to the world at large. a good education is key here, but your leaders are not interested in you coming out of the dark ages. if that will be the case, who woill they hate, who will they shoot, who will they terrorize? you all are being used by them for power and money. don't think for a minute that they care about jobs, education progress. as long as they can keep you backwards, angry, starving, dependent and needy, they will achieve their goal and blame all your woos and conditions on israel and the usa. apity!
