61. #17 U.S. Would Rather THOUSANDS DIE than OFFEND One Muslim
Linda Rivera ,   New York   (10.08.06)
Council on American-Islamic Relations: "Islam isn't in America to be equal to any other faiths, but to become dominant. The Koran, the Muslim book of scripture, should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth." - Omar Ahmad (CAIR co-founder). Addressing a youth session at the 1999 Islamic Association for Palestine's annual convention in Chicago, CAIR founder Omar Ahmad praised suicide bombers who "kill themselves for Islam," http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=52184 Guarding and preserving our freedom, and saving American lives is NOT on the U.S. agenda. As U.S. leaders egregiously refuse to guard the freedom and safety of Americans, the U.S. will certainly NOT protect Israelis. We are witnessing the death of Western civilization. WorldNetDaily.com August 18, 2006 Controversial Muslim group gets VIP airport security tour Feds show CAIR latest screening steps, sensitive counterterrorism procedures The Department of Homeland Security took a Muslim group with known past ties to terror organizations on a VIP tour of security operations at the nation's busiest airport at the same time British authorities were working to break up a plot to blow up U.S. airlines. On June 21, a senior DHS official from Washington personally guided Muslim officials from the Council on American-Islamic Relations on a behind-the-scenes tour of Customs screening operations at O'Hare International Airport in response to CAIR complaints that Muslim travelers were being unfairly delayed as they entered the U.S. from abroad. CAIR is a spin-off of the Islamic Association for Palestine, identified by two former FBI counterterrorism chiefs as a "front group" for the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas. Several CAIR leaders have been convicted on terror-related charges. ...U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agents were asked to describe for CAIR representatives various features of the high-risk passenger lookout system. In a meeting, Brian Humphrey, Customs and Border Patrol's executive director of field operations, assured CAIR officials that agents do not single out Muslim passengers for special screening and that they must undergo a mandatory course in Muslim sensitivity training. The course teaches agents that Muslims believe jihad is an "internal struggle against sin" and not holy warfare. Customs agents involved in the CAIR tour at O'Hare tell WorldNetDaily they were outraged that headquarters would reveal sensitive counterterrorism procedures to an organization that has seen several of its own officials convicted of terror-related charges since 9-11. "Isn't that nice of CBP," one agent said, to provide a "group like CAIR with a guided, behind-the-scenes tour of our customs facilities, explaining how programs designed to catch Muslim terrorists work." A Customs and Border Protection supervisor... "It's all about how Islam means peace and tolerance," he told WorldNetDaily. "We're told how to deal with Arabs and Muslims, that they are loving people and not terrorists. That jihad is struggle with sin and has nothing to do with violence." CAIR – which is bankrolled by the Saudis and the United Arab Emirates, two countries that formally recognized the Taliban – also offers religious and cultural sensitivity training about Islam and Muslims to the military... Also in June, CAIR was invited by the Pentagon to a ceremony dedicating the first Islamic center in Marine Corps history at Quantico headquarters outside of Washington. Washington-based CAIR also has regular meetings with the FBI and Justice Department. In fact, FBI case agents complain the bureau rarely can make a move in the Muslim community without first consulting with CAIR, which sits on its advisory board... http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=51573
62. The True Jesus
Allan Cronshaw ,   Long Island, NY USA   (10.08.06)
It is about time that Judaism began teaching about Jesus. The Muslims are correct that he was not God as the Christian believe -- and the original Ebionite positions can be researched at http://Ebionite.com .
63. TO; Allan, Long Island, to Jews and Muslims
Carl ,   Denver, Colorado, US   (10.08.06)
Ref: "It is about time that Judaism began teaching about Jesus. " Allan, an honest study of Judaism and its scriptures will automatically lead to Jesus. See my previous contribution in nr. 56 with some easy examples. And no, Muslims are not correct. The Qu'ran contradicts itself by stating that Jesus was born to the -virgin- Mary, and will return on the Day of Judgement as the Judge of mankind. But then fails to take that to the logical conclusion: that he was/is a diety, to say the very least.. It (Islam) then claims that (the man) Mohammed was a superior prophet than (the diety) Jesus ('Lisa"). How can that be? (Rhetorical question) Mohammed, who first converted to Judaism to get into the profitable trade routes controlled by Jews in Arabia, afterwards borrowed many things from early Christians and mixed it all up into a poisonous soup.
64. Indian outlook to foreign religions.
Esther   (10.09.06)
In India, where the majority (90%)are Hindus, all schools whether private (Christian schools) or public, teach about Hinduism, Buddhism, Christianity, Judaism, Islam and its various sects, etc. Other Indian religions such as Sikhism and Jainism too are taught, because they have originated in India. Language classes have some good articles from various religious scholars. For ex. the parables of Jesus are very popular, so also the discourses of Buddha and Bodhisatvas. Even Hindu Brahmin students study them along with their Indian epics in the state-run curriculum. Indians have suffered a lot from Islamic invasions and Western influence that impoverished their own cultural heritage. Yet, they have embraced the good aspects of other cultures. Indians have a broader understanding of various religions and have made them tolerant of what others choose to believe.
65. #59 Joan and #32 Debra
M.E. Cooper ,   Toronto   (10.09.06)
I am a 51 year old Christian woman from Canada. I grew up in Toronto, Ontario and attended public school. Many of my friends at school were Jews. I do not remember any incidents of name calling, embarrassing or centering out Jews in an anti-semitic fashion. As a matter of fact, a lovely woman who lived across the way from us and was a holicaust survivor from Poland became my Grandma Bubbie. Although her family were observant, she taught me 'Jesus Loves Me'. She and her husband were truly two of the kindest and most respectful people I have met. I trust they felt the same way about my family. They along with their children and grandchildren are still Jews. My family are mainly Christian or agnostic. My point is, we did not hate because we did not fear. We did not fear because we understood.
66. That's amazing!
Matthew ,   San Antonio, Texas   (10.09.06)
The LEFTISTS of Israel want to introduce Christianity to students?! In America, it's the leftists who want to suppress it!
67. Jesus is the fulfillment of the Torah
Kelli ,   WA, USA   (10.09.06)
68. #67 & #57 Fullfillemnt of the Torah
Josh   (10.09.06)
The question is whether it is the blessing or the curse, choose life or choose death, do Torah or not do Torah. Love Hashem or love someone else. I think any wise person who looks at the context of all the predictions and the tests of Jesus will understand how and why Jeus told some to do Torah and some to follow him. Why Jesus said he had not come to bring peace. Jesus was not the Messiah but he was a fullfillment.
69. What about the Noahide Laws?
Rachav ,   Melbourne, Australia   (10.10.06)
I find this incredible. Why haven't they introduced the study of the 7 Noahide Laws? http://www.geocities.com/rachav7/
70. #43
M. Hartley ,   Alanta, US   (10.12.06)
My point is this: There is no such thing as too much knowledge, regardless of the subject. You never know when it might come in handy.
