hanzalah naji ali ,   al- shajara   (10.09.06)
I think the God want the release of all hostages, but the government for political reasons doesnt want, so pray for god to give olmert a wise mind.
3. Irony...
Ariel ,   Canberra, Australia   (10.11.06)
Of course the irony is that these photos were taken on Yom-Tov which is not really appropriate...
4. #3 Ariel, It's OK.

Shabbat was the yom-tov in Israel. Sunday through Friday are the chol hamoed days of Sukkot, when one can drive, take a bus, take photos, etc. The photographer even took the precaution of taking the picture from behind the Cohanim. So, no need to worry, but it is very good that you were concerned.
5. Thanks #4

I forgot that in Israel there is duchan on chol hamoed - in galut we only do it on yom tov, so I got worried! I am glad the photography was done with sensitivity
