Taking out Iran's nuclear facilities, its air force and ballistic missiles, its navy and its command and control facilities is certainly do-able and advisable. However, these can all be reconstituted by Russia, China and N Korea. With the first cruise missile strike, we need to take out the Mullahs, and the upper echelons of the Revolutionary Guards. The Iranians are Western-oriented, decent people. When freed from the Mullah's dictatorship, they will become strong allies of the West, and will abandon their nuclear ambitions.
