I can't find the actual scientific study on this claim. It's based on one bar of soap from the Nuremberg trial. I think there were also lampshades at this trial claimed to be made of human skin that was later found to be of a goat. I'd like to see the actual scientific study. Europeans don't hate Israel, but as you said our view of the conflict is less biased. When you look at the Israeli-Palestinian/Lebanese conflict, we see hatred, ignorance and fear from both sides. But one side has more power than the other, has a much wealthier economy and military, and uses this power in a way that is appalling, just as scuicide bombers resort to appalling means.
