LeoP, What you said has some reflection on the ground in Middle East. But the reality of the matter cannot be put as easy as you did. There are multiple factors that run down the Arab vein and mentality. To compare the state of affairs that Israel is in compared to those of Arabs collectively is somehow without a clear perspective. For one, Israelis are in every sense immigrants from Europe and the US. They come from multiple cultures that are well of and well organized. They are above all, well networked both economically and militarily by the US. You cannot begin to imagine how much in funds are poured into the Isr. economy. Literally, in Billions of dollars. This is not to say the least that some Arab countries may probably be that rich, but to collectively hold all the Arabs as one party system that cannot look after each other as the Isr. do is somehow biased. The Arabs are still disorganized. Just to reflect on the situation from an economical point of view. If you have an establish industry that is ready to spin off certain product, except, the management is totally disorganized, then you will not get anything out of the production line. Think of it this way and you'll understand why so small country such as Isr. is more successful than most of the Arab countries. Indeed, technologically speaking, Israel holds the rank simply because of an "Open Western Policy” towards Israel which is far fetched than those towards all the Arab countries put together. To say the least, regarding a well organized link between many US and European industrial sectors with the Israeli counterpart; something which none of the Arab countries can get access to simply because of the limited technologies afforded to them under the security act. In short, Israel does have more access to these technologies which are denied to the Arabs. Reason, because the Arab countries in general are hostile to Israel which has always been and remains nurtured by the West. To compare the two together on the same Plainfield is a little off the scale. It’s going to take more time and more organization among the Arabs to reach the high end of the scale doing it alone. In due time, things will change. But to white wash the Arabs in such a simple way is rather superfluous. Again, like you said it’s all in the Arab regime and there is a great deal of emphasis that management has to do with the success of running any country. We have bad management and the leaders are mostly dictators or Monarch that rules the land by an absolute power. Until the leadership is changed; the Arab citizen will not progress as fast as the rest of the world is. It’s our shortfall, but we cannot have Arab War I and Arab War II in order to allow for the militarization to modernize the industrial complex as did happen during the European War I and European War II. This means that it can take longer to reach that level without these great wars. Don’t you agree? Meantime, don’t blame the Arabic culture as bottom line; instead, point the finger clearly at the underlying menace, which is the leadership in the Arab world that rule the populace with an iron fist. And, if you speak your mind there, you will simply lose your head. It’s a sad story, but don’t blame the ordinary citizen or the culture. Finally, I like to add that I sense a great deal of limited knowledge that you have regarding the Arabic culture. Without due respect, I think truly, that you are missing a lot. I say this with good respect and good intention. If you have the will and curiosity to learn more, you will begin to appreciate the complexity and the beauty of the culture as a whole. I can only suggest that you give yourself the benefit of the doubt and reach a little deeper and you will pick up the pace by your own will later. Keep me posted if you are willing. Peace for all Amir

Hi Tiny, When France donated the statue of Liberty to the Americans, little did the Algerians know what was awaiting them. Sadly, One Million Algerian innocent lives were lost during the 50's. The French mowed them to the ground. They killed and murdered them in cold blood. Yes, they killed the civilians in cold blood. Fact on record that you cannot deny. So much for your wisdom, so much for the Frech high Moral ground, so much for, "Liberté, égalité, fraternité. So much for the crap.. it’s a disease. Get a life yourself and get your wisdom straight and make up your mind which moral ground to keep; to kill or to liberate. Amir
