1. Lunatics nation.......
Avraham ,   Netivot   (10.11.06)
N.K.'s leader is a lunatic & his people are starving to death. N.K. must be stopped, by any means, before the sell their nukes to terrorists. They a menace to the entire world.
2. NK's nuke test is merely a fart
John ,   NZ   (10.11.06)
less than 2 KN. Kim is using this test to blackmail the world into talks. Unfortunately, what they got was even more sanctions. So frustrated now, that they are threatening a nuke war. I doubt they have anything to show other than rhetorics.
3. #2 not true
Yasir ,   US   (10.11.06)
This guy should be stopped before he makes a deal with someone willing to blow up the whole world. The nuclear device that was tested is as powerful as the bomb that was dropped on Hiroshima back in WWII.
4. This dwarf flunked Remedial Common Sense 101 five times.
Bunnie Meyer ,   Santa Monica,CA USA   (10.11.06)
5. North Korea - Where next?
C S ,   London   (10.11.06)
Already from the tone of their statements today N Korea feel emboldened to make demands and threats to its neighbours and their allies. All eyes are now on China and Russa. They must decide wether they prefer to cow tow to N Korea and allow it to play havoc with global stability, security and the global economy or grasp the nettle that is N Korea now before it gets completely out of control. In any case how dangerous can it be for China and Russia to have a mad man armed with nuclear bombs run riot on their borders? And what if N Korea now cladestinely offer nuclear bombs to anyone who will pay including terrorists? Al Quaida? Cuba, Iran, Venezuela? Chechnya? Surely its far better for them to confront N Korea now for the sake of the world or we are start preparing for the end of the world as we know it. China and Russia - we urge you to take the lead to stop this madness and lead the world back from the precipice.
6. Why not?
Samiramis ,   San Francisco, USA   (10.11.06)
As long as Israel has nuclear weapons, then everybody else has the right to have it.
7. Hullo Samiramis
C S ,   London   (10.11.06)
Why Israel? Cant follow your logic. Whilst the world is now entering dangerous times youd like to multiply the chances of global thermonuclear war a hundredfold! Putting these weapons of mass destruction in the hands of anybody and everybody? Just great! Youre not somebody harbouring a death wish are you? I somehow dont think so. Seriously its vital all of us all nations all religions all races in this global village fight to protect our planet - not to destroy it. Hope we can agree on that!
8. Not going to war with N korea
67cj5 ,   USA   (10.11.06)
The us is already at war with North Korea, has been for more than 50 years. This will not become a shooting war, Kimmey doesnt want that anymore than the U.S. does. He is just stamping his little feet and shaking his little fists. His bribe money has been cut off and he is just looking to get it back, and probably will. However if he keeps screwing around, he will piss off Japan. If he suceeds in that and they re-arm for an offensive war he is toast. I dont think they will play the games the U.S. is willing to play. Not going to war with Iran either. Its just not worth the lives and tresure the U.S. will have to expend. I think the U.S. feels like it is time for the rest of the world to step up. Even if the U.S. does stop one of these countries all we will get in return is whining, crying, bitching and moaning from the rest of the world. It's time for a new sheriff to patroll the world.
9. Most Americans want to nuke North Korea
Johnson ,   USA   (10.11.06)
And finish this conflict once and for all. But, of course that would be a bad thing, and the US would be condemned by the rest of the world who are afraid to fight for the God given right of freedom for their fellow man.
