1. their prayers are only a stunt
mike ,   israel (formerly usa   (10.13.06)
they are not interested in praying to their allah. they just want another excuse to go berserk. there is no spirituality in islam, just this hate-o-rama cultishness. don't they know how they are dragging the name of their religion through the mud? obviously they don't care.
2. Islam is a human rights abuse
Marcel ,   Florida   (10.13.06)
Whenever Israel shows some backbone and stands up for it's right of survival ,the cult of death riots and threatens and destroys things and people. It's about time that this religion of hate and intolerance was sent to hell where it began.

5. The intolerant religion that demands tolerance.

Is it a theology? Is it a philosophy? No, It is a hypocracy.
6. palestinians riot at Jerusalem
Connie ,   VA, USA   (10.13.06)
The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred discord, jealosy, FITS OF RAGE, selfish ambition, dissentions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like.Gal.5:19-21. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Gal.5:22,23. See the difference.
7. I often wonder
Marvin Halfon   (10.13.06)
in what is our israeli judaism superior to islam? they are not any better, but neither are we. there are things "asher lo ye'assu". this savagery could only bring us trouble .
8. Excuse me but they are Israeli Arabs
Adam ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (10.13.06)
East Jerusalem is in Israel proper according to Israeli law and it's non Jewish residents have Israeli ID cards. Why does Ynet refer to them as "Palestinians"?
9. #8 Did Israeli Arabs vote in Pa election?
Mark ,   USA   (10.13.06)
The Israeli Arabs were allowed to vote in the PA elections? Only those that lived in East Jerusalem. The remaining Israeli Arabs could Not Vote in the PA election? Is this correct?
10. #1 The world will put pressure on Israel
Mark ,   USA   (10.13.06)
They everything to gain. I can understand why they are doing this. The world listens to their concerns only when there is violence. The peace process can only get restarted when there is death and violence. The EU,UN, Russia, and US are incapable or unwilling to promote the peace process. They wait for a huge crisis and then take action. The Quartet is useless.
11. You must be new here, Adam (8)
Shai ,   Israel   (10.13.06)
Arabs refused Israeli citizenship. They have "residency cards". They are still citizens of Jordan, they don't vote in Israel's national elections. they only vote in Jerusalem local elections (and even then, usually they don't even though they have the right to).
12. to 7
Shai ,   Israel   (10.13.06)
Israeli Judaism does not take a position about Islam. Islam takes a position about Judaism, claiming it to be "superceded". I know this much, Jews wouldn't put their two Temples on top of somebody else's mosque. So, when it comes to 'savagery', point the advice in the direction of those who think they are better than us.
13. remember
Shai ,   israel   (10.13.06)
There were no restrictions or excessive numbers of checkpoints before palestinians started murdering civilian Israelis starting in the first intifada. If the Palestinians were peaceful and weren't always trying to find new ways to kill Jews, there'd be no checkpoints.
14. #11 Do they vote in Jordan?
Mark ,   usa   (10.13.06)
If they are a citizen of Jordan, they should vote in Jordan. A "permanent resident" should not have voting rights in 2 places.
15. One Man, One Vote
Ael ,   Edmonton, Canada   (10.13.06)
The only solution is to give everyone a vote for the Knesset. Then people can talk out the issues and settle their problems with words rather than rocks
16. Religious Freedom
Kyle ,   Southpark, CO, USA   (10.13.06)
When are Jews allowed to pray freely at Joseph's Tomb?
17. NARCISSISM !
MOSHE ,   USA   (10.13.06)
ISLAM IS PRIMITIVE NARCISSISM BECAUSE IT DEMANDS AND WARS FOR CONVERSION BY ALL PEOPLES TO ITS LARGELY MORALLY MEANINGLESS RELIGIOUS DOCTRINES WHICH INCLUDE CONVERSION OR DEATH TO NON-ISLAMISTS ! ISLAMISTS WANT TO CREATE A WORLD IN WHICH ALL PEOPLES ARE MOSLEM SO THAT THEY ARE MADE INCONSPICUOUS WITH THEIR PRIMITIVISM ! MOSHE
18. To Adam (#8)
Jasmin ,   Haifa   (10.13.06)
What makes you assume that they were residents of East Jerusalem? If they don't have Israeli ID, then, by your own definition, they're not. Even Ahmad Tibi referred to them as "Palestinians."
19. Haaretz clearer on who they are
sheri ,   rockville usa   (10.26.06)
Their article says the restritctions didn't include Israeli Arabs or E. Jer. (or was it Arabs with ID). It was only PA Arabs effected under males 40 or without ID..
20. #11 Shai - can you clarify for me...
sheri ,   rockville   (10.26.06)
I've heard over time that there are Jers. Arabs who didn't want to leave their Israeli citizenship to join the PA (in a possible peace deal arrangement). If the E.Jers Arabs are not citizens & refused it, then who am I referring to or do I have very incorrect information? Thanks.
