Could it have been a satellite / meteorite falling to earth and burning up in the atsmosphere? If this was an ordinary aircraft landing at around sunset...then I would imagine that many people would recall seeing this phenomena at one time or another...if not all the time.

This picture, if authentic, looks like a meteorite burning through the atmosphere. The double flame could have been caused if the meteorite split. A small meteorite, even the size of an orange, can create a huge trail of fire, water vapor and smoke extending back hundreds of yards. If it was a meteorite, the flat-mates had a once in a lifetime experience. Or, perhaps, it was a supersecret Palestinian Hamas spy satellite scoping out the beauties on Tel Aviv beach (they don't wear burkhas).

It might indeed be a contrail or even a chemtrail. If it IS emitted by an aircraft, it's flying at at least 20,000 feet, 20k meters or more. The truth is, there are many unexplained sightiings regularly reported - usually in police logs. The public generally does NOT call these things in. I don't know the video settings nor the time of day nor the angle of inclination of this report, so it's hard to say. I CAN say this however - back around 92 close to midnight, I personally witnessed, with another observer, what might be called a UFO on the coastal plains by the Bnei Brak area. We saw, and so did MOST of the nation, as reported by the news later, an object emitting spiralling and flashing objects behind it. I was to the east end of the country flying , most likely above 50,000 feet. there were sparkling whirling white luminescence trailing behind it and I followed it from horizon to horizon. It was truly amazing. On a side note, another amazing thing is that when events like this are reported in publications, the authors, such as Barry Chamish, are lambasted for reporting witness recollections. As the poster before who says all Israelis have seen UFO before, it's really not such an uncommon occurrance. Something to think about perhaps...

Unless it's completely overcast, you can pretty much see these types of aircraft leaving short colorfull contrails especially toward sunset which seen to reflect light differently from water alone. Documented evidence is given at, http://majormediabypass.com
